Yup should be a shit show,im down here for 60 days for shits and grins i may go to my favorite bar and watch the game, if its not too crazy,,, is it worth it meaning trying to get laid super bowl sunday or just come down and enjoy the game with other football fanatics and say the hell with the hoes for an other day ! ?

Depends on your skill level. Last year there were a lot of cuties who did not appear to be comfortable with the big crowds of gringos. If you have a good eye for that type they could be had for 3,000-3,500.

Saw this and remembered I did not have any flights booked for February. I need to be in STI mid month for a few days and I found a flight that has a decent connection.... Friday the 9th. Looks like there are lots of seats right now MIA/POP or maybe thats because people do not choose seats in advance? I don't know.
I will be watching the game from home, but no doubt I will be on the beach and the strip Saturday night for a look see.

My last trip to sosua was 3 years ago for Superbowl. That's when I knew that place was no longer on my visit list. When you got more chicas then normal and majority still 5 or lower that's bad. The few 7s wanted to be paid like they was in Vegas lol. $100 a hour in sosua is insanity especially since nobody actually f--ks for an hour. You had clowns making it rain with fake Gucci shirts and chains lol. I said oh this shit a clown show now I'll never come back here again😂😂😂😂😂. But to my brothers that go have fun and stay safe💪🏿

I screwed up. Did not realize it was SB weekend when I booked my flight. Realized there was a problem when I booked my airbnb. Feel free to tell me all the BS to look out for.
I usually sit at one of the German bars and watch chicas walk by until I see something I'm interested in. Will those places be mad houses on Thursday through Saturday night? I leave Sunday afternoon.
Will there be any calm places on the beach?
Does every restaurant and beach vendor jack up their prices for that weekend?

I think everyone should visit Super Bowl! I personally had a great time. Here are my pro’s and cons:
Pro’s
1) city felt a live. Every restaurant had a good crowed and the city had a buzz.
2) a lot of girls…yes there are a lot of guys too, but trust me you won’t have a problem finding a girl.
3) never dealt with overcharging
Cons:
1) beaches are packed
2) clubs are packed
3) if you only come once a year I would not recommend.

If your on a short time visit and a Newbie, BAD timing!! Chicas always bump their prices with every American event or long weekend in Sosua. I love the days after such events, highest ratio of chicas to men!

Yup Shapeing up to be a sausage Fest. Flips sold out im sure every watering hole sports bar or expat bar be stsanding room only,,,bet all the good hotels are all sold out,, on the fence if i venture up town or just stay in my casa and watch the game!

Been there a few time when the S.B. was on, never went to a place to watch the game on purpose., no interest. I did like the fact that the week before and after, there were more chicas in town though, lol.

If the trip was all-expenses paid I would b happy as f--k to take in all the festivities tho!! I would bring the firestick to enjoy the game at the Airbnb and beyond that I would just make the best of it. I only went once and that was when the Rams won. One positive to accentuate would b that a lot of the chicas from years past and chicas from far and wide all treat it like Homecoming or Atlanta NBA All Star Game or some shit.

You can't take it personal, it is how they survive... I'll give you an example, a long time chica of mine (40,some work done,looks f**king great) has sent me pictures over the years of herself, in Columbia, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Saint Martin. I know she could not pay for these trips on her own. She will not pass up a chance to hook a stupid gringo, and she will tell me in advance she will be busy. Yes there are a lot of dudes but only about 25% of them are actively trying to close a deal. Last night many chicas left the casino without a client. Met a nice Columbiana tonight that many here would find very attractive. Didn’t explore making a deal because I’m worn out from today’s activities.

I remember watching the Giants beat the Pats in a bar in Puerto Plata in 2008. It was the only place we could find that was showing the game. There was no such thing as Super Bowl weekend in Sosua, as far as I know. Then, I remember at some point a guy talking about having a party during the Super Bowl and it just grew and grew from there. Still never been there for that event but it is probably the best mongering location to see the game, outside of maybe Costa Rica and Thailand.

SB can be fun in the DR, just like X mas, New Years and St Paddy's .Have never made them the point of my trip, but if I'm there I normally go to expat parties.

Doubt it's much of a big deal in Thailand.
It would be on at 6:30 in the morning for one thing so limited bars going to open to show it.
Plus not a huge number of tourists from USA in Thailand so the interest not going to be as high there.

My take is it was more of what’s become the Sosua template. I didn’t see one super fine chick. My amiga from Santiago was probably the best looking overall chick here. She’s fine enough to get steady catcalls and comments from the locals but I don’t consider her to be more than an 8.
The bottom line is that based on what I observed the real baddies decided not to show up for Superbowl in Sosua.

My take is it was more of what’s become the Sosua template. I didn’t see one super fine chick. My amiga from Santiago was probably the best looking overall chick here. She’s fine enough to get steady catcalls and comments from the locals but I don’t consider her to be more than an 8.
The bottom line is that based on what I observed the real baddies decided not to show up for Superbowl in Sosua.

To be fair I kinda get in the past when chicks would approach they would get a sell because they were attractive and dude were willing to go. Nowadays you get a bunch of dudes who appear to just be hanging out who seem like they don't really wanna be approached like say in a place like rumba where dudes are watching sports so rather than get rejected chicks. just wait. Also I hated being approach and a lot of chicks doing the approaching weren't the top chicks it was the bottom tear and only made money because they were getting the dudes who were to scared to approach chicks themselves.

What makes a person stoic and potentially jaded is being half heartedly approached with an insulting deal. I’m 2017-2020 I was definitely open to conversation with a chica cuz GFE was pretty much standard or a chica who is a legit 8/10 would honor a deal if you said 2-3 leches for a certain amount of time and wasn’t pressed about getting paid upfront. When the girls attitudes changed, it makes some veterans change as well. It’s not always the guys negativel Changing the girls. We still want to smash, but dealing with entitlement will have you only dealing with the women as a sexual objectC and outside of wanting to smash or get a number, it’s a waste to interact with them because it’s gonna end with them asking for 100-500 peso for something you don’t care about even if you have no intentions on taking her. On you can get a chica number and she WhatsApp you to go within 5-10 minutes then tells you you are wasting her time if you say later not now. Travelguy90, we don't need to understand why or how the game changed in Sosua, just that it has and how to adapt to the change. What do we, as mongers, have to do to get what we want and avoid the rats! This is a point a lot of guys miss when I say Sosua sucks I mean in terms of other mongering location even the ones not in Asia where one can just show up and have a great time. In Sousa most of the guys on this board are dudes who go at least a couple times a year for longer stays have repeats etc. If I'm a guy who is coming to have two or three chicks a day Sosua ain't it.

They are having their vacation, having fun, but I am sure some of them cant break from the group to get a number let alone a ST.

If I have a finite amount of money be it 1-3k, I don’t want to waste it on a crap session, when I can do something enjoyable with my time and money. Guys don’t have to take a bad deal, and the entitled Divas don’t want to put in the work, so they don’t show up.
I’m not saying a chic needs to work 4 hours with a guy to make $30 which is good money all thing’s relative, but a guy shouldn’t have to waste his money when he can legit just not session with 3 dudes and have enough money to book another trip to another country be it Colombia, Mexico, Panama, etc…
Some guys legit show up to Sosua to be YouTubers and hangout, then go to another city for p4p, because YouTube and here advocates that’s a better option if you want value. Spend 500-1000$ in SD, STI or POP for better value, and just hang in Sosua for the beach and atmosphere.

You both make great points on both sides. Keep this in mind that when you factor in inflation 50$ (3000 pesos) is about in line with what guys were paying 10 years ago except the quality and service has dropped. The major issue with Sosua, is that it to find good service, price, quality and consistency, and you need to negotiate/hunt for it but it can be found with a bit of work.
Which is why I propose we have a gringo network that calls out all the "leche papi" rats that give poor service ;)

I noted this a few months ago. Many guys appear to be solely taking in the sights and not closing any deals. This weekend there was an above average number of guys visiting yet a bunch of decent looking chicks were customer-less when I left the casino at 3 am. By that time a lot of guys had filtered out. Those chicks after a lot of time getting dolled up were most likely going home empty handed.

You can get better deals at the end of the night (past 1am) or in the afternoon, if they are awake. Frankly, I believe that 3000 pesos (50 dollars) for ST is a nice, sweet spot where both parties don't feel insulted, but especially during slow periods when they aren't doing anything anyway. I do have that 500 pesos wiggle room for a 4000 pesos girl who wants to meet in the middle with 3500 (my max). The only time I'd throw out a 2500 number is for a low(er) quality girl end of the night type take it or leave it type deal. You'll be able to get some good talent at that 3000-3500 range with a bit of patience and persistence and they should be happy with that price point.
Just keep in mind, no matter what people say here, you're not getting super high tier women for 3000 pesos at any time of the night. Sosua's downfall is lack of top tier women, and they know they are in the minority and many of them ask for 4000 during non-busy period and 5000 without negotiation. Never negotiate in USD.

There was a time when the women outnumbered the guys so much (10-15yrs ago) that even knocking down 2-3 a day left a lot of these chicas with no real money.
However, those were the times when you can do things, like have fun with groups of chicas at your hotel pool - BBQ'ing chicken wings and buying a case of presidentes/rum.
That was the MAIN reason to come to Sosua - not to be clock watching, and wondering if a chica is gonna give trash service.
Money wasn't an issue back then either. You knew that if you spent all of your money, you had the time of your LIFE.
