There isn't much to do anywhere on the the N. Coast with the exception of maybe Puerto Plata. Everybody comes for the girls... The girls are the reason why guys spend their money so frivolously. I'll never quite understand the "not much to do here" crowd. BB's or better known as the Costambar community has bars, restaurants and grocery stores and a beach much like Sosua albeit on a much smaller scale. Yes, I've also met chicas on the beach in Costambar who were not BB girls and had a great time while staying at BB's. For me, there's plenty to do.

I would advise against bringing your poker chips or any game. Why? Because when you arrive at BB's you'll quickly notice how relatively small it is. At capacity, there are only about 22 or so rooms. Not only do most guys not know how to play poker but they will likely be annoyed/distracted by the ever present chicas cavorting in and around wherever 2 or more men post up at. Poker is a psychologically demanding game that too few guys would likely be interested in playing between sets of pussy sessions. As for the chicas, forget it. They don't play poker because they don't know how and they don't speak enough English to call your bluff. Also they're not going to gamble with their own money...period. Besides that they're there to work, not play games with anyone that doesn't involve getting pesos for leche.

There really isn’t much to do at all in Costambar outside of BB. There are maybe 2-3 beach spots to eat at and the same number of cafes/restaurants off beach that all close early evening. There was one German restaurant that was decent and a pizza/Italian spot that close a little later. No bars or clubs. You can catch an uber out of the community to the Casino at night if you can’t crash at 10pm like me and there was a strip club/brothel but you’ll have a hard time finding one that’ll take you back to BB late night. The security guard at BB will let you back in after hours but a couple times it took a while before they came to the gate. For me BB is best for a day or two in the beginning of a trip before heading to Sosua while you get acclimated

I'm noticing more and more clubs advertising they are open until 11pm.  I would guess casinos are open now as well.

Good to know for the future, if the Mamasan calls any outside girls especially Ana that worked there before, do you meet them outside somewhere or the girl will still come to Blackbeards

The Mamasan will only call/contact chicas who are currently on the BB roster -- or the Mamasan has a good relationship with her. The chica would then come to see you at BB. There is nothing in it for the Mamasan to set you up with a date off campus.

Stones,

Hmm. I’m not sure about this. Sometime last year, I bounced out with a BB’s chick who was on duty, but I wasn’t staying at BB’s myself.

Not only do I think I was overcharged for the takeout, but Hilda taxed the chica I think like 2,000 pesos off the top. It was some pimp shit. The chica was tight about that shit too, cuz the chica complained to me about what Hilda did after we left. Smh.

Not sure I understand. Yes, you have to pay a fee if you take the chica off campus while she's supposed to be available on site. Easier just to get her Whatsapp and hook up on a day or time she's not scheduled for BB.

If you are staying close by, just have her start her day a couple of hours early and see you before she comes in to work.

Poon was the chica on the roster for the time you took her off campus? If so the tax she paid was for what the House cut would have been if she stayed on site. This is where things get tricky, prostitution is "technically legal" (the law is too ambiguous to lay charges) but pimping is not. This begs the question, how much do the chicas kick back to the "House"

This leads me to another question. Some here have said they use BB prices as Guide post for what street prices should be. What does the 'house' take?

The "house" takes nothing from the chicas. Mister Pink is correct. If Blackbeards took money from the chicas -- from their earnings from prostitution -- that would be considered by the Dominican government as pimping, and BB would be swiftly shut down. Trust me, the local homeowners association in Costambar where Blackbeards is located has long been hoping that Blackbeards could be taken down in this way. It would be the same as if Ahnvee was caught in Sosua demanding money from chicas who turned tricks on site.  And the same scenario would play out in Puerto Plata at Oasis Adult resort. Any establishment in the DR that directly pimps chicas by taking a portion of their earnings will immediately be targeted for criminal prosecution.

I know it all sounds convoluted. Yes, an establishment in the DR can have prostitutes on site. Yes they can be "coordinated" by a mamasan who is not on the staff of the establishment. Yes, the mamasan may collect certain fees from the chicas. But no, none of that money can legally be filtered to the establishment. By Dominican law, that would meet the stands of pimping.

Following the letter of the law is why Blackbeards, Oasis and Ahnvee are not hassled for allowing prostitutes to openly engage in prostitution on their respective premises.

I have watched a full panel of DR. lawyers state that Prostitution in DR is not technically legal. it is just tolerated and left open which means the government can change up on you anytime they see fit. I have
taken girls out of the compound for 9000 Pesos paid to the bar last year. I have never heard a girl state
that any further monies were taken from her. The girl just let Mamasan Crystal know that she was leaving,
I paid the bar and off we went. I always use BB prices as my base for pricing. The last time I looked, the girls were getting 2500 pesos Short Stay. I usually tip the 500 pesos and make it an even 3000 pesos.

Yes, you can take the chica from BB for a fee -- but that's not an act of prostitution. Also, did you mean you paid a bar fee of 9000 pesos to take a chica from BB? Nine thousand pesos is about $165.00. Did you mean 900 pesos? I can't imagine anyone paying 9000 pesos just to leave with the chica.
