Man I must say I'm hurt @Murano2010 as you know I live here and you didn't think to let me know your in town I might never get over this. Anyway told you all Sosua sucks even are favorite Sosua expat is in Pattaya he just can't stay away it's a must see. They live in the next town over.

Dont feel bad, there were quite a few ex Sosua expats in Pattaya I did not reach out to, THIS TRIP.   

For the record, I didnt leave Sosua and visit TL because Sosua sucks.   I left Sosua because my passion has been enjoying traveling, and one of my Sosua expat friends told me he was going to Pattaya.   I would have been content even if I stayed in the DR.  Thats how unaffected I am by whatever other guys feel or say about Sosua.

So I decided to meet him in Pattaya, since I was going to be on that side of the world anyway a little later.  Ive since left TL and now Im in another country at the moment.  And next month I should be back in Kenya.   Possibly heading to Rwanda, or back to Tanzania.    Thailand is such a short trip, it's a hop, skip and a jump away.  Im sure I'll be back there again soon.   I have to, Ive got plenty of baht left over.

Started going in 2011 had a ball then and I have a ball now... Cold beer, Hot beach, and readily available women.... These are the 3 things you look for in Colombia, Brazil, Thailand, Costa Rica etc.... Travel to each and you will find pros and cons but overall if those 3 things don't make a man at least contempt wait until you physically can't partake anymore and then you will realize what gratitude is all about. Women are just one aspect of these trips for me not the end all be all. Have a cold one, relax and enjoy life above the dirt. See yall next week!!!

I like your take Mouse, I’m back after last trip had Passions. I’ve been to CR & DR, I too prefer a beach, & short travel times so DR is nice. But it’s been 10 plus years since trying to pull anything from Sosua, I can’t say I’m picky but man reading seems many busted ladies? Anywhoooo I plan to visit every few months, somewhere hoping Sosua again but not sure considering it’s been so long. Cheers!

Any place is what you make of it. Sosua is a small town, you can walk every where, no car needed.Yes the size of the chicas has changed, (10-12 yrs. ago big chicas were the minority). If you don't like whales, look places they don't go. If you only work the area between Kings, Bailie's and the beach, you miss 1/2 of the places in town where chicas go. IMHO when guys move around in bunches of 4-5 or more, it works against you, 2's is better, put the chica on the spot between you.

5 pages of good n bad about my beloved DR. Had a great 12 yr run til 2/10/20. Bought a house in Fajardo,P.R. last spring but returning to Sosua in Jan.  to see it once more.  I certainly don't expect it to be anything like the rodeo it used to be but no problem there. I'll still have a good time for 2 weeks and hopefully see a few familiar faces;both locals and maybe a couple old IFTC compadres.I'm down with Mouse14 who has the perfect attitude we gringos viejos should be carrying in any foreign land. Still have a couple hot former  regulars whom I left with good memories of me. I'll dedicate 4 or 5 days fishing for something fresh before I use Memory Lane as a fall back position. Don't bet against me, young guns,I'm a f--kin charmer. Alittle fatter and older but still have the RedSox B on my leg and the price of afew drinks in my pocket. Hit me up if you see me, Sosua vets.
