Jett,

You're wrong. Blackbeards has ALWAYS offered short-time visists of 1-2 hours. Yet you write, "I'm struggling to understand how people don't understand how a hospitality business functions. The owner isn't in business to help you bust a nut on the chica's face and attach pesos on her forehead for the hour."

You write that, Jett, but this is exactly what the new owner is doing! That is the business model and it has been for years! Jett, have you actually ever been a customer at Blackbeards?

The difference with the new owner is the nuance. I have been going to Blackbeards for well, a long time. Under the previous management you could drop in, tell them you want a room short-time and they'd give you a rate for 1-2 hours or maybe 5-6 hours depending on how long you want to stay. Now you gotta rent out the bust-a-nut room and be outta there in say, 30-60 minutes. Just cheapens the whole experience in my opinion.

Also, I disagree about your comment, "I'm struggling to understand how people don't understand how a hospitality business functions. The owner isn't in business to help you bust a nut on the chica's face and attach pesos on her forehead for the hour. Your happiness isn't his priority if you're not staying there. The man sells hotel stays, alcohol and food. The chicas are the loss leaders."

Jett, please! Without the prostitution, Blackbeards would be dead! Dude, you don't get it! A lot of people on this board don't realize that Blackbeards is nestled inside of a GATED Homeowners Association in Costambar. I mean there are actual families living down and across the street! Without the girls, Blackbeards dies. And that is why the Homeowners' Association have been trying to get rid of BB -- or at least the prostitutes -- for years!

Again, have you actually ever been to Blackbeards or explored the community inside the gates?

Without the girls, the hotel stays, but the alcohol and food would not be enough to keep the place afloat inside a small homeowner's association development. And that's a fact.

Again, have you actually ever been to Blackbeards or are you just talking?

*Sigh*

Yes Stones, I've been to BB's. I've been coming to BB's consistently now for about 10-11 years. In earlier years, I would visit twice a year, but now it's about once a year for a 7-10 day stay. Matter of fact, I'll be there again in mid-October before the Halloween event for another 7 day stay. Now that I can safely say that I'm a BB vet, does this now make me qualified to have my own opinion?

When you stay as a guest at BB's do you really give a shit about how much the ST room is? Or do you simply move how you move having a drink at the bar, ordering food, swimming in the pool and ogling chicas for your next f--k session? I'll say it again, BB's pays its employees and expenses through stays, food and alcohol. The girls are there but they don't get money from the girls. If you can't grasp this simple concept then I can't help you. Argue with yourself.

Tell you what. In order to avoid the typical immature back and forth nonsense that goes on on this forum(I really miss the old IFTC forum), why don't you sit down and talk to Nico at length as I do to get an idea about how BB's is actually run. I know full well where BB's is located and the general feeling about BB's in the Costambar community. Why not simply talk to other business owners as I have in Costambar and get an idea of what really goes on in that community. You might be surprised to know that some key businesses support the continued operations of BB's. Again, don't @ me. Argue with yourself.

For all of the "BB's is dead or will die because xyz" mongers who post, do you realize how foolish you sound? "BB's would be dead if there were no chicas!" Well yes, BB's would obviously be dead if there were no girls; SMH. The fact is that this hospitality outfit has been around for 25 years now should give you pause. BB's has been in business longer than many of its detractors have even heard of mongering on the North Coast. I remember the same nonsense about BB's going out of business for years. Even moreso when they closed for Covid. BB's is often booked up and business has been consistently profitable.

In the end believe what you want to believe. I don't care. I'm not attached to your opinions or your cynical perspective. I'm headed back to BB's in October and like always, I'll have a great time.

Facts!

A lot of Conspiracy theories with no facts. Sold out meaning every room had a paid bill. I was there in August and they were sold out during my time frame. Every room had a name to it. BB is not a huge establishment. I was Supposed to switch rooms 3x because of type of room requests, but i only switched 2x because it was so convoluted. When they tell me it’s sold out I call and speak to Nico. You may be able to get a room in gaps during those sold out dates but like someone said earlier, you have to understand how It works.

In the grand scheme of things...How many rooms total and how many average to slightly above average chicas are we talking about here at any given point ?

Why is it such a huge deal if the place is sold out or not ? You reserve a room if it's available during the dates you choose or drop in to use the short stay correct ? The place makes money from the food, alcohol and room rentals...maybe kickbacks from the chica bookings, hence the log book from what I've read ? I don't know and don't claim to be an expert so no hard feelings if someone clarifies.

Seems to be unnecessary back and forth over the place. I never stayed overnight, but stopped in twice to check it out. I didn't smash anything on either visit and certainly left with no regrets.

With Blackbeards, things can vary in terms of available rooms and chicas. During the high season of travel,
they can have periods where they sell out. Once, I walked in to try to reserve a room after having checked
out of an Airbnb and they had no rooms available. During the low season their are times when the occupancy is very low and their are plenty of rooms. Now with the chicas, you can go there on one vacation and they have a good mixture of nice looking girls. You can go back 6months later to find that your favorite girls from your last trip no longer work there and it's a bad crop. it's a turnover thing.

Sold out? No rooms available? Waiting list only?

What's the difference?

The difference is if you are a walk up and you can't get a room, then they're sold out. Or at least they are sold out for you.

That's the difference.
