Question: What Can Ahnvee Do To Make A Comeback?

Why on earth would anyone want Ahnvee to make a comeback??

Because if your business is failing then you have to change it up. For a minute, Ahnvee was the shit. Then it suddenly died, despite mongers and chicas hoping it would succeed. There is still an opportunity to breathe new into the project. The question is who would do it, and what would that look like.

I remember when Ahnvee opened.  I was so excited.  I thought that was exactly what Sosua was missing.  A high end hotel where high class out of town girls would go to.  Anyone who knows DR knows that Sosua has a stigma and a lot of girls don’t like to be there.  But I learned quick that Ahnvee owners were frauds.  Fake it till you make it type of guys.  They were never close to 5 stars.  You don’t keep customers that way.  Did I go there and book a room during the pandemic.  Hell ya….but you don’t keep loyal customers with that business model. 

Sosua Inn is everything I wanted Ahnvee to be.  The new roof top bar is amazing.  The hotel is clean, modern, strong wifi, and good upkeep.  That’s how you keep customers. Free plug for Sosua Inn.

As far as I am concerned, Ahnvee has contributed along with other factors to the downfall of Sosua. I’m glad it’s done!

If I knew someone that wanted to take it over, and I was not able to talk them out of it ( i would try).

First off, a rebrand. Adios Ahnvee resort and sports, Hello "East End Hotel" (or something)

Second, normalise the rooms. Get rid of the pools, fix the shitters so they are private. Make sure the AC's and safes work, linen is in good shape and the rooms are clean.

Decide who you want to compete with. I would say target the middle, lower end cost per night adult crowd. Target New Garden, Sea Breeze, Alicia Beach, Anton Reef. Offer hotel services, daily housekeeping, 24 hr check in, decent security and you are ahead of a lot of the AirBNB condos. Have a good breakfast included.

The rest? Sure. A great pool bar. Decent sports TV management. Maybe a club.

Chicken or the egg, what comes first, rooms or services.

At Blackbeards, they would have no room nights without the services.  At Ahnvee, they can't support the services without the room nights, and no one will stay in that place a second time the condition it is in.

The joint was too dub focused it had the girls for a time and they neglected and overcharged for everything else but thought that people would be loyal to the brand because reasons.

Anyone other than the most delusional dub would've told them the KOD strip club in Sosua wouldn't work who'd throw money at strippers ( all night)  when you could easily f--k for a fraction of that thrown money?

It was open a couple of weeks ago though my amiga who dances there said it was very slow. She went back to Santo Domingo because of that. I was surprised when she told me that there were 15 dancers there and that a number of the girls only showed up on the weekend.

The main thing in real estate and business is Location. the Anhvee is in Sousa, Guys are gonna need rooms especially if other hotels aren't sold or close. Su mongers are used to getting hosed so if you got a room with a shitter exposed so you see and hear your chica expelling her dinner of rice n'beans  in real time so be it.

Shit if he sold it to me for 100K I'd buy it and not change a god damned thing except I'd invite Pudo and a bunch of chicas to one pool party and pay Pudo to cut the video up and constantly repost it, that's literally all you'd have to do.

Riddle me this Sir? as in the original title to this posting HOW WILL THE ANVHEE MAKE A COME BACK ! its like stale bread no bringing that back to life, is bourbon capable or do you need a fresh set of eyes ideas and bags of money   nothing againts bourbon personally,but  dont think its coming back as a club or any type of entertainment venue, its etither going to get develped in to apartments or condos, ,look at all the places for sale in sosua or have sold. mateos for sale bailees for sale malibus sold jolly roger for sale,,,not to be crying the sky is falling but the club scene and resort secen is in decline in sosua at least any thing brand new till they finish the plazas and boot all the vendersout  then mabey carve more of the moutain out above the beach and build a resort ,,, Now am i still gonna goto sosua, heck yah i have a few semi pros, if i get sick of them  snap of a finger balls deep in strang pussy, the beaches the good weather  as far as going out at late night been there done that, im just an old sexpat at this point,,, but  any one even talk to boubnon,,for reals,,,   he must havea game plan   just asking >

Actually I could defenitely see it being converted to condos or small apartments. Can't see how even an anti passport bro mayor being against that. Shit could be a gated community so even if you bring girls discreetly in can't see how that would be a problem. You could convert the bar/ club to a party venue for residents only with sound protection and you're done. Rent paying residents are less likely to up and leave and you could easily section off some as Airbnb's or even a hotel.

Question for you Tug what aren't you a full time sexpat at this point? I get that maybe the fall season and Bostonians invading your town and maybe the warm maple syrup is calling you but there's way more Haitianas in City Lights than in the whole City of Boston.
