About 6:09 in, TMD reveals that the chica had previously filed a domestic complaint against the gringo. At that point, the gringo should have walked away from that situation. Anything else that happened after that is on him. This is why details matter.

And regarding TMD saying that the domestic violence law referenced in the video is solely weaponized against foreigners: anyone with money, Dominican or gringo, is fair game unfortunately. Don’t get me wrong, they’ll target the foreigner first before one of their own. But they have plenty of practice scamming each other on a daily basis. Us foreigners honestly see a fraction of the bullshit lol.

I've been critical of TMD in the past. But kudos to him for putting this info out.

Dominicanas have been sweet as pie to me. But one thing thst most  expats agree on is that Dominicans are nationalistic. Most of the successful expats I know have red pilled relationnships with chicas i.e. dont live with their GF's dont trust them and always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

It really puts the socalled loving submissive chica stereotype in persepective. He didnt racialize it but theres a good chance that all the guys he knows this happens to happens to be Black Men.

One other thing is this seems to happen who live high on the hog. Obiviously theres golfers who go to punta cana and there's shady Italians in Boca Chica as well as canadian snowbird couples who are well insulated and deal with Domincans in general on a case by case basis.

I.e. theyre aware of the massive class and cultural differences and dont drive SUV's to pick up chicas from Sosua abajo and take girls that live in wooden housed to their mcmansion villas in residential hispanola.

Finally I even understand why he kept it light and especially when he lived on the island he covered up the bad. He said I dont want to get in trouble with the Dominican tourist board  so all the shit he was allowed to say and do was clocked by the DR government and OK'ed becuase it brought additional toursts in.

I'll say one thing about the DR they are probably the only government the world that appreciates and cultivates the African American Male dollar. Its like they studied How to sell to the Negro and took it to heart.
Taylor by any strech of the imagination is a small youtuber but the DR recognizes his impact on the north coast tourism market.

Dudes especially slow travelers, half pats, snowbirds and expats need to take heed have plenty of back up casg and buy nothing or have no relationships that yoy aint wulling ro walk away from at the drop of a hat. Your very life may depend upon it.

And how.

Most people aren't aware of the massive envy that these weekend ballers generate. In america people have always hated on immigrants "buying up everything" and controlling certain businesses like the Indians "controlling" the Motel market in the south or the Ethiopians "controlling" the cabs and parking lots in the east.

You don't think they feel the same way even expats feel about money throwers? They know that these ballers aren't doctors and lawyers they're "rich" through arbitage. The money throwing Dubs  get roasted by expats but the dominicans use the extra legal system to cook a dumb dub dub.

Now I  have also critizied the Raise the Bar crowd on here and I stand by the idea of not seeking validation in showing off and trying to impress prostitutes but if you're living or visiting Piantini and Bellavista at least you fit in with equally pretentious locals also trying to show off fake wealth.

You go to Paris Bar or Club Dial and these dominicans there way richer than you and yes you have to compete with cousins of Minor League Ball Players, dudes in Rochy RD's entourage and big time drug dealers, so no one is envious of a dumb dub dub who saved up 12 months salary at his mail room job to throw a  six million pesos in the air like you're doing something.

You do that at the Casino in a backwater town like Sousa and only you and your fellow Dubs are doing the same.

People forget that at the end of the day Sosua is essentially a no horse town in the middle of nowhere. All that tourist money and these no political urgency to fix the damn bridge. When the jews came there in 40's sure Trujillo wanted to whiten the country but they were the wrong white people then and now the center of the country is in Santo Domingo and to a certain extent Santiago, They had to develop land on the other side of the Island.

I'm not sure when it happened but at some point americans found Sosua in the 70's or 80's and the "New Yorkers" started coming  in the late 90's. ( someone needs to do a history of Sosua especially the tourist period) But the point is athough there's some rich dominicans in Puerto Plata city for the most part rich domincans in Sosua got rich off of foriegn tourists so all that money flooding into a small out of the way beach town has to make people feel a ways, just on a cultural tip the fact that there's like 50 burgers Wings joints and Pizza Parours in that small town might piss people off.

I was told there's a place outside of some of the big hotels that you can get a decent cup of joe but even then in a coffee drinking society it's hard to get a good cup of Santo Domingo Coffee but you can get a glass of Hennessey Paradis at 7 am in the morning.

I know a guy who lives in Monte Plata who goes to sosua to smash because he wants a decent reputation in his small town. Hoes go to the Su to sell ass because they don't want to ruin their reputations in their towns

There's a hoe culture that permenates the Island but even in Santiago theres no Pedro Clisante there's a reason for that.

Reputation is everything even in the DR

Bat Man, you make a lot of assumptions.  I stay wherever I want, and last I checked they not more prosperous than me.   Why do you project your insecurities on the board?  My favorite time to party in the Dominican Republic is November, December, and January.  You know why, because all the players are in town.  The parties are the best at that time of year.  You are afraid of competition and scared to go to the hottest parties; you do not belong there.  Hot nightclubs are just like the projects. People know if you belong or not.
