Casamigos in Playero is around 3800$, Casamigos in SosuaLiqours is 5200$ so pay attention to pricing because that’s over a 20$ difference
Cheaper ways to do things, doesn’t indicate quality, or lack of

You need to compare apples to apples. These are 2 different types of tequila. They are even different color in case you haven’t noticed 🤣🤣🤣

Come back when you have done your homework properly.

Better for you? still more expensive than Playero, Same type too. I was saying just pay attention, because a lot of dudes will just buy a name brand bottle and not think about what they’re getting.. I could have shown a full comparison of the different tequilas from both stores, but that would require me to go searching in depth for photos and not everyone cares about Don Julio or Terimane, let alone cognac or other types of drinks.

I literally deal with fools in Sosua getting hosed on groceries because they aren’t paying attention to what they are buying or the prices and they wonder why my cart is 25-30 and they are spending 60+, and sometimes we’re buying the same thing I just get the fruit at 100-140 peso and if it’s 200-250 for the same thing(diced fruits) they don’t mind. Like I got spinach for 4-5$ and somehow a friend brought spinach for about 10$. Some guys just say get that, and are specific or paying attention because they just trying to get to hoes asap. When you find the dumbass who buys Hennywhite when you said henny and they not aware of how much money they spent because it’s all henny and they want to be with some hoes asap, then bitching later cuz they didn’t know how much it was, but I hang out with folks 33 and under, so they aren’t always patient and attentive.

Funny but I’ll b travelling with a straight up newbie in a couple of weeks  He’s still spooked by those weird ass alcohol poisonings several years back.  He is so afraid that he was hesistant to even buy at the Miami Duty Free. it took some convincing for him to feel safe, So now he is gonna buy his drink at home and place it in his checked bag and we will get extra at Miami Duty Free.  I had forgotten all about those poisonings and how big the news  was in the U.S.

In Playero there is a triple distilled vodka from Spain for about $800RD. Top brands are $2500 or more. Ya can tell the difference in a snifter but who is to say which one is best when you are drinking it in a spicy caesar.

No one is sipping tequila, Casa Amigos is way too much money.

Mid range Brugal is about $800, you can get an OK red wine from Spain or Argentina for $550 or less, and something that bubbles is about $700.

If the chicas are looking in the cooler they will take a corona if you have a selection. If you only have Presidente they wont say a word. They could care less if you give them Cuervo or Terramana unless they see both bottles, then they are choosing the expensive one.

Remind your newbie buddy that they are just as happy with a half chicken and plantain from a vendor as a surf and turf from Waterfront if no choice is offered.

I buy my liquor in the playero or super pola to drink locally ... they have all I need.
When I want to bring back home some bottles I can't find home, I go to Ocho Santos or Liquormart in Puerto Plata or if I happen to visit Santiago, there's more Ocho Santos stores who have even more choice than the one in POP.

Playero has the biggest selection but not the best prices for premium spirits. Super Pola has the highest prices. Overall I think Surf Side Liquor across from Banca Reservas has the best prices. The liquor store near City Lights 2012 has the second best prices for spirits however the wine is overpriced.

I'd have to say Super-Super Surf Liquors is the best place to buy...or my preferred. I've found pricing the best but I usually just buy Brugal. They do have a large selection of other alcohol though. I prefer it to the other liquor store on Pedro because its not riddled with beggars sitting on the stoop outside.

Just don’t buy duty free… you can find all you need locally! Price can be wacky just bust out your phone calculator… 1942 was $40 cheaper then casa azul… usally in the states 1942 is more.
