2nd trip to DR. First to Santo Domingo, La Romana and Bavaro
« on: September 14, 2016, 03:44:15 PM »
Just wanted to shout out to all the Sosua vets on here.  I've been on a sabbatical from the site, but not intentionally.  I see things are changing in Sosua, and that is unfortunate.

It is very good to be back in the DR.  Again, this place is magical.

This is my second trip (October 2015 was my first trip and I visited Sosua).  This time I wanted to do something a little different...and see the southern and eastern parts of the country.

I flew in to Santo Domingo and rented a car and headed to La Romana.  My buddy and his wife built a new house there.  It is very close to the beach and they are away for September.  He made the offer and I couldn't refuse.

I have spoken with Bachatero and if I stay past this coming Saturday, I will get a chance to meet up with him in Santo Domingo.

I made the short drive of all but an hour up to Bavaro and hooked up with 007 last Saturday night.  We had a blast that night and hit up several spots, then overdosed on football all day at one of the spots with over 20 televisions.  Man, it is great that NFL season has begun!!!

I'm currently on the beach lounging in my chair with a cold Presidente and my favorite chica of all times that I met in Sosua last October, but didn't get the chance to get with her.  I met her through a doctor friend while sipping Cuba Libres and smoking cigars.  She had to leave the next day and she was with him at the time.  I remember him saying, "You will really enjoy her!".  Man, was he on point!  All the advice that I have received from the vets in person have been spot on.

Related to that, I must say that 007 blew my mind with the places he took me in Bavaro.  Now, if you recall from my October report, when I went to Classico's I was like a kid in a candy store in that I had never seen so many available women in one spot that were that good looking.  Even when I visited Colombia (and there are tons of beautiful women there) I had never before seen as many hot chicas under one roof as I had seen in Classico.  Until Bavaro!  Man-o-man!

007 took me to the strip club called "Blue Light".  Now look, I'm from Houston and have gone to V-live.  It is awesome, without a doubt.  I have been to Atlanta and on many occasions visited Magic City.  Again, awesome, without a doubt.  There's always a few super stars there and the rest very good looking.  But, let me tell you fellas, there is nothing like Blue Light in Bavaro.  The women there were so fine and so beautiful that I found myself looking right past the 8s and 9s just to look at the 10s.  It was unbelievable.  All I will say (and this is something you will understand when you go) is this...they had women dropping out of the ceiling.  My hats off to 007!!.

We later visited some other spots and there were some lovely Dominicanas as well as Venezuelan lovelies.  Our last spot was a night club/casino that got started at 4am.  There was some nice talent there as well.  007 had to leave as he was hosting some other friends from out of town.  That's when I got rolled by 2 street-smart chicas.  007 knew exactly who they were when I described them to him the next day at football...man, he could have saved me 8000 pesos ($140 USD)!!.  I had those 1000 bills spread out over 3 pockets and they hit them all, within seconds!  I wanted to give them an Academy Award or something.  Let me see again how you did that shit.  These bitches made NYC pick pockets look like Amateur Night at the Apollo.  I know that particular game...the chicas pull up on you, distract you with compliments, start grabbing your dick and working you.  You know something is up because they are overly agressive and that is certainly not a females nature.  As soon as they started pulling and tugging I told them to back up.  They had already gotten me!  And check this out...what was so amazing is they left (or returned) the credit cards and ID that I had in those pockets seemingly untouched.  They were best at what they did.  Award-winning.  I wanted to cry but all I could do was laugh at myself.  "They got me!!!" I had on cargo shorts with two velcro patches.  They circumvented those and went straight down the middle.  Next time I'm wearing cargo with plastic snap locks on them.  From here on out I will be keeping my 1000 bills in the bottom of my sock.  Lesson learned.  I felt like I was in Boca Chica and hadn't even been there yet.

La Romana
La Romana has a lot to offer.  I am only here because I have a beach house to myself.  But I'm glad I came here.  The food is very good.  The women are beautiful here as well.  I never visited Santiago, but I heard about the car washes.  They have those here as well.  I love the concept.  Without having to get your car washed, you can just walk into the same area where guys who really are getting their cars washed go to wait for their cars to be completed.  Some car washes are simple and some are very elegant, but they all have chicas.  I found one called Dubai that has a nice long bar and 3 big screen TVs and some couches on an elevated platform.  At the long bar are seated about 10 chicas.  You can nod your head to any one you like and she will bring you a Presidente grande for 125 pesos (around $2.50 USD).  If you like her you pay a bar fine to the house of 1000 pesos.  You negotiate your price with the chica.  They usually like using the local hotels which charge about 300 pesos ($6 USD) for 2 hours.  I haven't pulled the trigger yet.  I have been rolling solo, so I'm looking and asking questions.  I am not sure if you pay the chica after you leave or if you pay the house that as well.  In any case, I'm only interested in getting the chica back to house.  I'll keep you posted.  There are a few that I have my eye on.

As I mentioned, I am writing this while chilling on the beach in La Romana.  The beach here is awesome and there are ZERO people trying to sell me something.  I'm relaxing with my Sosua chica that I mentioned earlier.

Okay, so I stayed in touch with her (thank you WhatsApp) ever since meeting her last October.  A few weeks ago I told her I would be in the Santo Domingo (SD) area, knowing that her little village was very close to SD.  She mentioned that she would be in Sosua and wouldn't be back for a while.  Dayum!...Gonna miss her again (I thought).  However, with all of the recent changes in Sosua, she ended up coming back on Monday.  I drove down, scooped her up on Monday around 2am and we have been hanging.  2 consecutive days is the most I can maintain interest in any one babe (just too many around and I feel as though I'm missing out), so after this beach session, we are headed back to the house for one more session and then back to her village. She is absolutely lovely though.  Very attentive, very tender and loving.  Last night we went to visit her family on her father's side.  He lives in a different town.  He and his brother and his nephew, she and I all went to a little bar in the middle of the town on some back dirt roads.  It had 2 pool tables.  The Brugal was only 500 pesos per bottle.  I bought one and after we all drank that up he bought the second.  The people were very friendly.  He danced Bachata with his daugther...then the uncle.  Then they pointed to me and said YOUR TURN.  As you know it can be danced up close and romantic or it can be danced with a gap between the man and woman (far off).  They had danced with her from far off.  I did likewise.  In the middle of the dance the father walks up to me and wags his finger laughing...pushes us both together then gives a nod of approval.  OK...if you insist!  It was a fun night.  They showed me some different Bachata moves.  There were a few other ladies there grilling sausage and they danced with us as well.  It was a fun night.  This is just the kind of thing I was looking to happen, didn't know how it would.  Not planning my days out has worked out well thus far.

I'm hitting up the car wash tomorrow and some other local spots tonight.  I was scheduled to go scuba diving yesterday and today, but my Sosua chica has blown those plans right out of the water.  Pun intended.

Okay, quick update before posting.  Dropping my chica off just near SD.  We have just stopped in Boca Chica (BC).  She assures me that I won't get pick-pocketed if I'm with her.  We are dining at Italy Italy.  I've heard that the food here is incredible, as well as other italian food places here in BC.  After we eat, I will cruise around for a bit then head straight out.

Will post more later.

Caramello...it's always a pleasure hanging out with good brothers. Any time you want to link up, I'm down. We didn't get a chance to hit all the spots, but it was still a good time.

I look forward to hitting the south coast in Santo Domingo with you this weekend. I'll be celebrating another birthday, so you know I'm ready to party. I hope you end up extending your time so we can catch up with my bro, Bachatero, too. The 3 of us in the capital, La Romana or Bavaro might be trouble.

And the lil shorties from Blue Light are ready to link up with us. Just say the word and I will make it happen. They both hit me up today to see what's up.

The good ones move there just for that purpose. And they do pretty well for themselves off of petty theft.

Damn good report, and yes Blue Light is the truth!  BTW, is Lady Factory still closed?  I was there last summer and thought the talent was even better there!

On my way to Santo Domingo today for a half day and all night of fun.

Wanted to give you some updates.

Cell phone service
I have an unlocked smart phone that I use for international travel.  Use Claro when you get to the airport.  You can buy a one-week sim card with phone minutes and 700 MB of data for 500 pesos ($10 usd).  I slip that baby in and my Facebook Messenger, Google Maps and Internet browser are back in business.  Since it is a new number you will have to set up WhatsApp for that number.  Alternatively, when away from wiFi and in a bind, I used my international phone as a hot spot then connected my USA phone to it to stay up on saved WhatsApp numbers.  Do NOT use Orange.  Yes, it is cheaper, but you will only get 2G.  With Claro you are 4G all over the country.  Yes, texts are 5 pesos versus 1 peso on Orange, but the speed is worth it all...and most chicas are going to be using WhatsApp anyway.

Driving in General in the DR
When you rent a vehicle, don't prepay for any "full coverage insurance", as they are not going to accept it when you rent. At least not with Alamo, and I suspect it will be the same for other companies.  Go with the insurance that they are offering once you pick up your vehicle.  These airline ticket airlines always sell extras.  Getting them to honor the various insurances is like pulling teeth.  I know longer by trip insurance.  Try getting a refund.  Next to impossible.

When I first hit the new highway (Route 3 goes all the way from SD to Punta Cana/Bavaro and up to Miches), it was a good break-in for me.  The passing-on-the-left rule does not seem to be followed here.  The police have a nice presence (every 5 miles or so).  They mainly are there to assist.  The speed limit is 100kmh/62mph, but they let you do 140/82 with no problems. I say one guy going 100 mph and he never got stopped.  For the most part, route 3 condition is in excellent condition, especially from La Romana to Bávaro.  The problem that I saw on my many treks between LR and SD was that they don't inforce trucks and their loads.  I saw multiple accidents (not as they were happening, but afer-the-fact) where the load had slid off the truck and causing major damage to the road.  I saw two 18-wheelers jacknifed that had double (piggy-back) trailers.  Made me appreciate many of the highway regulations that we have back in the states.

City driving is insane.  My first day when I hit LR I was a nervous wreck.  Moto conchos were passing me on both the left and right on a two-lane road where I was hugging the left lane.  Cars wanting to turn in front of you use the inch-up method to get you to stop and let them in.  All this ish drove me crazy on day one.  After that I learned to drink a few Presidente's and chill out.  I never became as agressive as they were (everyone is in a hurry) but none of it bothered me.  The scariest part still is you can be driving down the city street and come to an intersection and someone blows straight through their stop sign.  So for me I was approaching each intersection with much caution.  The cars behind me were getting upset and blowing their horns, but f$#ck it!  My dime!  If I were going to be in one-city I would not have rented a vehicle, I would have just rented a driver.

La Romana (LR)
Visited a few more car washes.  Again, Dubai has the best talent in the city as far as car washes go.  It is located on Calle Pedro A Llubers near the intersection of Gregorio Luperon. (Google Map Coordinates: 18.425205, -68.969799).  It opens around 11am and closes promptly at 1am.  Bar fine: 1000 pesos ($20USD) to the house to take the chica out.  After that it is up to you and the chica in terms of time and cost.  You can negotiate 2500 for 4 hours. So use that as a base.  There are 6, 7 and 8s in this place all day long.  Excellent selection.  The worst part about car washes (or most places here that have nice chicas) is that the music is deafening!!! Bro!  I'm talking painful levels of loudness.  It's crazy!

I did find a place where the music level was nice.  It was not setup like a typical bar/car wash where the chicas are all behind the bar.  This place was called Nuevo Ambiente (Google Map:  18.428052, -68.970107) located near the intersection of Calle Pedro A Lluberes and Calle Enriquillo.  Bar fine was only 500 pesos.  The chicas are 4, 5 and 6s with an occasional 7 during the day.  I went at night.  The nice part is the chicas are spread out all over the club and are seated alone.  You pick the one you like, sit next to her, order a bear and chat her up.  Found me a stacked Cubana-looking chica.  Her face was lovely, but had the belly, waist extra thickness.  Now, you guys know, I will do a thick chica if the chemistry is there.  She was all over me and I all over her.  The chemistry was right and she talked dirty.  Love that ish!! Left around 11p. We had a blast while together, chilled at the pool for an hour when we first got back to my spot.  Her head game was off the chain.  She also talked that ish during the act.  Loud mouth, screamer type.  Heavenly!!  Best service in DR thus far.  But she wore my ass out. Took her home at 2pm the next day after we had lunch.  Gave her 2000 pesos as agreed.  She was happy.  Gave her 500 propina.  She was ecstatic.  Went and bought some hair (yes I took her...lol).

As far as restaurants go, Marinelly is very nice. Very large spread, nice ambience and good food.  This is the place I would take a chica if I were trying to impress her.  I dined here alone during the day and came to their bar my first night here.  It is a separate small building.  The music is not too loud.  Local working-class people frequent the bar.  Lovely ladies.  This is where I made friends with several people my first night and we went club-hopping afterwards.  It is located on the corner of Avenida Santa Rosa and Calle Dr. Teofilo Hernandez.  No coordinates necessary as it is right at that corner and you can Google it.  These clubs were impossible to find on Google.  I just dropped a pin and saved those mofos right into my phone.

Another good eating spot is called China Town (corner of Calle Altagracia and Dr. Gonsalvo).  Decent chinese food, when you are looking for something different to eat.

There is a gentlemen's club called Scores.  It was closed all week due to remodeling.  I missed out on the eye candy.  I hear there are 6, 7 and 8s with an occasional 9.  But I am spoiled to 2500 pesos ($54 USD)for ST or in that vicinity.  They want $140 USD for an hour ST and $160 for TLN.  No thanks!  But I would check it out if it were open.  Like in Blue Light, I'll drop some USD there to support the club.  Drink with the ladies and tip them.  Scores (Google: 18.4367828, -69.0013219) is a little out of the way about 10 minutes from most of the other places.  It is just up the street from the mall (Multiplaza La Romana).

Santo Domingo (SD)
My SD plans now are to hit up Spa Odisea for one of those 2500 peso Nuru massages.  Those oily body-to-body rub downs cost $250 in the states.  No way!  LOL.  Sosua, Colombia, Thailand, Philippines, Ecuador have spoiled me.  Just cannot fork over the coin in the states.  LOL.

Will hit some night spots as well and hopefully report a successful night.

Talk soon!
