I don’t think an appeal even exists. It’s more than likely greedy (and stupid) American gringos who think they can make a fast buck just showing pussy, when it can easily be bought on the street (along with a private strip show dance if you want it) for 3000 pesos, lol.

That strip club is gonna have a grand opening along with a swift grand closing in about 4 months. Smh.

At its core, a strip club is just a bar with naked broads. In most of Central/South America tipping on stage is (or at least was until the gringos f'd it up) frowned upon. So strip clubs are basically just brothels, where dudes can do their business in private and go home. I'm not against them in theory, but they can keep the American style strip clubs in the US.

So strip clubs are basically just brothels, where dudes can do their business in private and go home. I'm not against them in theory, but they can keep the American style strip clubs in the US.

When I first arrived in the Sosua area you had Crystals and El Bohen that were casas de chicas. You could take a chick out, have sex onsite or just chill. There was a nightly strip shows in each where the girls if they chose could show what they had. The only guys throwing money were guys that were trying to get her attention. The house paid a few of the better dancers to participate. There was no obligation or expectation of a tip. Lap dances were at the girl's discretion with no payment expected. In latter years both Passions and CMP operated in the same manner. After the first experiences I completely swore off US strip clubs.

I love a good strip club.  Its like being in an interactive art museum if the talent is right.  Sometimes I may just want to look and admire all of the beauty.   Sometimes I may want to feel their curves and smell their essence, give her a few dollars and send her way.  If I really like one, I'll work out an agreement to enjoy her personally in the comfort my place of choosing for as long as I want her.

A "stripclub" in Latin America is called a Nightclub.  They operate like you described.  You'll see upper middle class dudes go to them after work for drinks or day drinking on a weekend afternoon with the boys.  For them, it works like a American stripclub.  And for others it works like a brothel.  Personally, I prefer them to straight up brothels where they parade the girls out  and pick one and take them back. 

I remember going to La Pasion in Santiago and there were even couples in there, eating, drinking and enjoying music.

Years ago on a few weekend nights I visited Passions in Santiago. It was pretty much a night club full of couples and groups with the hoes relegated to the far reaches of the club.
