MiGos rapper Takeoff killed in Houston

Another day, another rapper killed. But this one feels different because Migos were the leaders of the new school for their generation. As a hip hop head, I appreciated their consistency and attention to lyrics.

I expect this will impact the younger fans the way the deaths of PAC and Biggie impacted me. RIP.

I know some 40+ Atlanta heads that are hurt as well. It seems like they were the last rap GROUP. The rest of these dudes are just solo artists hanging with a bunch of hood homies.

I wouldn't go that far. This generation moves on fast and has no loyalty to artists. These kids went from Rae Sremmurd to little yachty, to lil uzi vert to xxxtentacion to juiceworld to pop smoke to dababy and on and on. My little cousins didn't even blink when news about takeoff came out. They already on to the next new artist.
