Definitely was a good time. It’s crazy because the police came outside around 2-2:30AM. After they left a big fight broke out. At least 20 guys. Not sure what it was over. Didn’t see any women nearby. Might’ve just been drunk shit. Definitely would recommend going at least once.
Good to hear about all the women being in the SU and the town being LIT, club packed and people making it happen having a good time.

As far as the fight, I'm sure those same dudes were out the next day with matching t-shirts or tanks, boom boxes.....one crew with Yankee hats and the other with Celtics. Same dudes can't come to town solo cuz they won't be able to act a ass without getting asses kicked! Klowns like those have to roll with a crew....

And people get mad when I call these types dub dubs

Not many on here have a broad appreciation of music. I like both kinds. Country AND Western!

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldQrapQ4d0Y

I cant stand country and consider it a rip off of the blues but I love a long story arc in a song. Its western for tge win.

Less Tim Mc Graw and more Marty Robbins

”I make it rain in these hoes” it’s a bragging concept, to show you’re above people and money. You want to see people clamoring for something you’ll discard without a thought for an ego boost. If no one rushed to get the money, they guys would stop doing it because they wouldn’t be special. It’s a nightlife concept for stripclubs and nightclubs with bottle service.

Same reason you spend 150+ on a bottle that’s normally $27-50 when out or buying a $100+ wine that’s normally under $20 in a restaurant when out to eat. It’s a flex that you’re not concerned about money and it’s disposable.

Psychology and marketing.

And the best part of it all is that bullshit has spread all over the world by all races. I've seen it done by Koreans in Angeles City white guys young and old in Pattaya and blacks in Sosua.

A few years ago met a stripper while out drinking. Ended up at the club where she danced. While there she tells me that the proper thing to do as appreciation for the dancer was to toss a minimum of 50 singles on the stage. To myself I was thinking why the f--k would I want to waste money like that. Of course I didn’t take her advice.

It’s to motivate others to join in and start throwing money. You know one upping each other. “Let a real n…a with some money show you how to do it!” I lived in Miami, and while I never dated one, use to be pretty cool with them and seen their “boyfriends” do it, when it was dry to try to get the crowd worked up. A chic dancing and no money onstage just crickets it’s cringe af, and then no one wants to do anything with her set.

Tourists or locals fighting?

Does anyone get harassed for pescos by a security guard named junior.

Ignore him.

They should fire him; new does his job.

Yes it motivates others to step up and do the same. It happens in Sosua too. If out alone my GF's amigas will come up to me and do the big hug and cheek kiss greeting at night on the street, but only when there are potential customers watching. I play along because I know its all about other guys thinking " HE DID HER, SO WHY NOT". It's just good marketing.

Just real glad to hear about this nite at Casino after reading so much gloom and doom on some other posts. January will be my 1st time back since '20. I was at BBs SuperBowl bash about 10 days before Covid chased us out. Before that I had a great run going;my 1st yr in DR was the last year Passions was still open.Going from a sports bar in Rapid City to that joint 11hrs later was quite the transition. Also glad to see a few familiar names on here. I was on IFTC for several years and just found this recently. We usedto do the San Jose to Jaco circuit 10 days in Dec.;Then post holidays DR fr 2-3 weeks.Post pandemic I only made 2 trips to Guatemala for fishing in '21 n '22. Gettin older, fatter n going to bed earlier these days but still ready to party a little. Pura vida, compas. Contando las dias

Dang, I was a good bar fighter about 40 years ago but now I’m in bed by 10pm. Best fight I ever saw was at a church basketball game in Lander, Wyoming. They were throwing wild punches, rolling around in the ground trying to choke each other. Blood all over the place. Tried to break it up but tripped on some wrestlers and could never get my footwork right. My martial arts instructor back then won tournaments all over the Mountain West, he dragged me off the court and saved me. We watched them fight from the sidelines for another 10 minutes. He suggested we let them tire out. They all had guns in their pickups but the fighting never made its way to the parking lot. Those regular church goers seem to have a lot of built up frustrations. Fighting over basketball and not pussy. Just doesn’t seem right.

Fighting over pussy is worst ... especially in a town where 10's of 1000's of pussy is available  ::)

that's like fighting over someone who skipped the line lmao .. you still going to have to pay for your purchase lol so silly .. i could never figure this out ..
