Thursday May 2, 2024.    Had lunch at Fat Jesses.

Later posted up at Tiki Wiki until 6:45pm

While there, plenty of chicas out on patrol as usual.  Around 230 pm a pair of chicas were arguing on the street, Dr Rosen side of Rumbas.   One of the girls who walked away, crossed the street by Tiki Wiki.  Seconds later the chica she was arguing with came up behind her, stopped briefly to go into the metal garbage can on the corner to find a bottle.

Then she started going after the other girl.  The girl took off running.  Just before she got to the sidewalk, the girl in pursuit threw the bottle at her.  Just barely missing her.  The aggressive one, picked up a broken piece, to continue after the girl.   The girl being chased ran into the liquor store.

Didnt take long, a pair of Politur Police on a motorbike showed up.  Minutes later several  combat ready officers showed up.   I guess they were looking to arrest the girl that threw the bottle.  Plus they scared the daylights out of all of the chicks that were standing around by the liquor store and the back alley where chicas stay, watching the drama unfold.

Around 530 pm the Politur Police came out in numbers with their vehicles to take control of the corners and the streets.   At this point, all chicas knew not be caught standing around or on patrol.   The police also was making motorbikes move from being parked too close to the corner, outside of the parking lane.

Down the street across from Kings, the Police had their paddy wagon and pickup trucks set up to arrest chicas.   They were about the business of arresting chicas and taking them off the streets.

Last Monday, one of my guys had briefly stopped a chick on Dr Rosen by Rumba.  She took his number, and they parted company.  Seconds later, she must have spotted some Politur police eyeballing her from a distance.  Because she immediately turned around to try to reconnect with him and act she was with him.

Those cops werent having it.  They grabbed her, and took her to jail, with her pleading for my man to come to the jail to bail her out.   For a brief moment he was actually trying to help her, by claiming she was with him.  But the cops were not entertaining that.   I tried to get his attention, telling him to let it go.   Let them do their job.

Let her pleas for your help/assistance fall on deaf ears.   Chick ended up spending the night.  Got released in the morning.  Then sent my buddy voice messages asking why he didnt come to the jailhouse to bail her out.   I listened to her message.  Everything she said was in perfect English as if she was from the US.

I have my doubts on whether or not she would have thanked my man with a quality session for coming to bail her out.      BTW since Im on the subject.   What is the protocol when chicks are arrested?   Can they pay a certain amount so they dont have to get locked up?    Even if they stay over night and they are released in the morning,  do they have to pay anything then or later?    How much do the chicks have to pay for getting caught or for their freedom?

I'm told the ATM withdrawal fees at Banco Reservas and Banco Popular is 300 pesos per transaction.   Im assuming any bank in the DR is charging the same for ATM withdrawals vs the 250 pesos it used to be.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe even Banco Nacional is charging an ATM fee per transaction.  It used to be free to make withdrawals at Banco Nacional.

Additionally, I learned that Banco Reservas only allows one to withdraw only up to 10k pesos per transaction.   Banco Popular supposedly allows one to withdraw up to 20k pesos per transaction.

Yesterday I received my new replacement Charles Schwab Visa card from DHL in PP.   Activated the card, and then went to use it at Banco Nacional.  Only to find out that the ATM machine was down.

This card replacement has been a pain in the ass.  Because now Charles Schwabs computer system seems to need to relearn my usage habits.  Several attempts of me using the card while in the DR for my routine expenses, were flagged as if fraud was being committed.

And yes, I have my travel notice of me being in the DR already established.  It's to the point that I may need to contact CS beforehand, to avoid having to verify my transactions that I have been doing for several years.   The problem is, many of my routine transactions are not always for DR expenditures.   Kudos to CS system trying to protect it's customers, and it's own interests.

My understanding is if they’re arrested you can’t bail them out. They need to spend the night in the slammer. It’s a professional hazard of working the street. One of my regulars claims to have been arrested at least eight times. For whatever reason she finds it funny.

@Jazzy.....It's obvious there are different opinions and perspectives on what the protocols may be.   Plus some things may have changed over years and months in how the police handle the girls.  Im kinda wondering if different outcomes also happen depending on the whims of the officers at the time?

And do the cops take bribes before getting arrested chicks to the station?   Like if they pick up a chick on a motorbike, while out of sight of their supervisors.   In the past, Ive seen chicks pulled off the street, placed in the pickup truck, but a few minutes later saw them right back on the street.   What I dont know, is why were they released?

Since Ive been back to Sosua, as of yesterday I think I know what has been bothering me about what appears to have happened to Sosua in a negative way.  Ironically, it's not necessarily the girls this time.  Although I could focus on them too.

But the major problem I see, is that there are too many Dominican and Haitian local men hanging around Sosua ALL damn day.   It's these muthablubbas that are ruining the laid back vibe that Sosua once had.   Sosua has become loud and obnoxious at times.

Everywhere you look there are Dominican and Haitian local men that have filled up the town with their presence.  Back in the day, you saw a few male hustlers, and a decent amount of harmless motoconchos.   Now the Dominican and Haitian male representation seems to have increased dramatically over the years.

Just the traffic alone of cars, and motorbikes all up and down the street is an eye and ear sore.  Many of the kids in Sosua that we watched when they were young, are now fully grown adults.

There is major drug trafficking going on all over Sosua.  So that means a lot more hustle and bustle going on with moving product, and accommodating customers.  Bikes, cars and 4 wheelers speeding and racing around town.   Some of which are about servicing clients around town.

Bottom line there are too many local men hanging around Sosua all damn day.    There may even be enough that are actually living in Sosua now, so they dont have far to go, getting back to their hustle.

Just look around.  Everywhere you look, motorbikes of men are parked everywhere.  And if they arent parked, they are on the road zipping around recklessly.   It's hard for some non hustlers and foreigners with cars to drive peacefully, and also find a place to park close to a venue where they are going.   Look at the traffic on the highway.   Sosua traffic volume and aggressiveness wasnt always like that.

Combine the male tourists that are in Sosua with the local DR/Haitian male representation and p4p gays, and Sosua almost appears to be a major sausage fest, compared to the amount of p4p women represented in Sosua.

Sosua was much better when there was significantly less local males hanging around Sosua all day.   Back in the day, Sosua had hustlers but it did not appear to be like it is today.   A visit to the Texaco gas station can result in a long wait at times, because a bunch of local males are trying to get gas for their bikes.

And like I mentioned before.  A lot of the Gen X and Millennial hustlers are grown now.  We also have a new breed of beggars & young boy hustlers, coming up behind them fast.   Another thing to factor in, how a certain % of chicks in Sosua have been taken down by drug use.   Women we see, and the ones we dont see anymore.

I’ve been waiting on someone to say something about the number of transvestites working the strip. In the last few weeks on the weekends there have been consistently more than 10 parading up and down Pedro. And they’re in the open mixed amongst the girls.

why do you think there are so many local men? Because the notoriety and influx of male foreigners now which means more people to fleece and maybe the latino machoism of having other men come and f--k "their" women.

It's really quite simple.  Sosua is regarded as a place locals can earn a daily living.  It's not just chicas that need money.  Local men need money too.

Local men who dont have regular jobs come to Sosua for :
Basically because foreigners bring a lot of money to Sosua.

A local male can :

Be a motoconcho/taxi driver
Be a beggar for handouts, get free money, food or drink.  Especially from foreigners
One can sell products like male enhancement substances to foreigners at a mark up
One can pimp chicas, or act as a go between for chicas or mongers hooking up.
One can sell or deliver drugs
One can act as tour guides, hired protectors, or hired escorts to help foreigners that cant speak up for themselves.
Act as a handyman
Be a go fetch it helper or errand runner.
One can find vulnerable foreigners to hustle and or cheat out of their money.
Fill in the blank in regards to any deviant shit__________that also goes on in Sosua.

The thing is, I feel it seems like there is more local male representation is because a lot of the old hustlers have not gone anywhere.  And young boys who started hustling years ago are now grown.   Put them all together, and thats why it seems as if the male representation of locals has increased.   At least it has from where I sit.

We also have to consider, the local male representation from regular employment.   A lot of local men have regular jobs in Sosua too.

And this is where things get more dangerous. Strap up gentlemen.

As more and more bisexual (gay men) get in the mix amongst what’s already a smaller pool of chicas, that’s when more and more STD’s, including HIV & AIDS really start popping.

As you might already know, the gay crowd is a high risk group. So as the increase in trannies brings more switch-hitters into town, things get more and more risky. Syphilis, drug resistant gonorrhea, etc.

The chicas who know better are not gonna f--k with dudes who they suspect are gay. However, there are a lot of chicas who don’t know better and don’t understand the greater risk, so fellas, remain vigilant, and educate your chica roster so they know not to f--k with gay dudes or any dude they observe leaving with trannies.

Im repulsed by gay men and male homosexual behavior.   However, I dont believe people need the excuse of gay men or trannies connecting in Sosua to justify protecting themselves.   Many of the diseases people should be concerned about probably come directly from foreigners ( they dont have to be gay or a tranny ), that come to the DR, who have the capacity to infect hundreds and thousands of people.

And as local women interact with these carriers from various countries, the risk of infection to dozens of people, that should be just as much of a concern.   With that, educating chicas about gay men or trannies, is a lost cause.   What infectious diseases are women themselves bringing to the sexual market place?

The HIV virus and later AIDS, was a targeted plandemic where homo sexual males were injected with substances under the guise of helping or preventing something.  They were used as guinea pigs/experimentation.   The result was causing masses of those people to become sick or ill.

They did the same thing to people in other countries on other continents.   Went there as humanitarians, and infected the population with immune compromising substances.   And then offered them, the antidote.  Which had the opposite result of what they said it was for.   Does that sound familiar?

Back then in America, they went with the narrative that it had something to do with gays infecting each other through sexual contact.   When the real story was that people were injected with poison.   The idea was, to make people believe that it was simply about a gay and promiscuous lifestyle which was the cause of HIV.   They added drug use, and other things to sweeten the narrative, to make it more believable.

Next came the bogus and totally unreliable HIV tests.   Then the drugs to take to prevent one from developing AIDS from HIV.  Which lead to massive illnesses & deaths.  Drugs like AZT was given, but instead of helping people, it destroyed people.  But HIV leading to AIDS got the blame.  Sound familiar?   People were totally unaware that anti AIDS drugs was really the culprit.   Instead the gay or down low lifestyle got the blame.   And we bought it hook, line and sinker.

Point being.  Dont make gay sexual relations the scapegoat for choosing to protect yourself.  Protect yourself because a lot of people that travel abroad are just f--ked up with all kinds of diseases and dont give a f--k about other peoples health or safety, especially a prostitute.

Gay sex is always going to be around.  If it was all about gay sex being the ultimate cause of HIV/AIDS, more people would have been infected daily & dead a long time ago.   Of course if you go after gays and trannies and deliberately infect them, expect them to get sick and die.  It's not because they are gay that they got sick or died.  It's because they were targeted.   Heterosexual people that infected or died, were just collateral damage.  Acceptable losses.

The real health concerns should be towards avoiding being infected with diseases that are hard to cure and manage.  Herpes, Syphilis, other forms of diseases etc.  And also immune compromising diseases some people derived from getting unnecessary Covid shots and boosters for the last 3 plus years.   Many people are going to be exposed to sick people whose immune system has been compromised and weakened by injections, boosters and hard core drug use.

Were not going to be able to put the blame mostly on gays and trannies if and when that happens to enough people.   A wise course of action, is to do a good job at boosting ones immune system, or at least not tearing it down.   The truth is, many diseases are around us every hour of the day.   The main reason many of us are surviving these diseases, is because our immune systems is doing it's job.   Your immune system doesnt tell you what it's dealing with, it just does what it is supposed to do, if you let it and help it.

Knock on wood.  My entire life, I dont believe I ever suffered or obtained a sexually transmitted disease.   And if I did unknowingly, my body must have dealt with it, and took care of me.

Murano,

I agree with what you’re saying. Dudes should strap up anyway, but the gay/tranny phenomenon unfolding in Sosua should also serve as an urgent wake up call and reminder to those who have been moving recklessly to straighten up.

It’s a medical fact that homosexual sex and IV drug use are the highest risk factors for HIV/AIDS. And of course with that, comes opportunistic STD infections; some which are of the super strain variety.

I understand that no one wants to scapegoat anyone or anything, but facts are facts.
