I often read ISG in detail before I visit a location but for another one specific to Brazil and written by locals is gparena.net. On the drop down menu you choose the state then the city. Use google chrome with the translator on and its has a wealth of reviews of massage parlors and online escorts. The great thing is that you get a sense of what the locals are paying and if you can, get a local SIM card in Rio because it gives you a local phone number and last time I noticed that when you "order in" from a website you sometimes get the gringo price when they see a US number on WhatsApp

ISG takes a lot of digging and reading but if you do that it's good.  Take reports with a major grain of salt bcuz most posters are old white dudes.
