Jaco February 16-19 Trip

Greetings fellas, just got back from Jaco and would like to share my experiences with those that may be thinking about taking that trip. I was able to book a room at the Republik which is directly across from the Cocal. They have a nightclub on site, fairly spacious rooms, 2 pools and is completely guest friendly. Their rooms were $100 a night compared to the $200 the Cocal charges for the cheapest room on Fridays and Saturdays. I had not been to CR since New Years eve 2020 and quite a bit has changed. The Cocal pool bar now closes at 2:00 am and most other places close at 2:30 even on weekends and Le Loft nightclub on the corner is permanently closed. There is however a place that continues to 5am I had no knowledge of called the Back Room which is across the street on the same block as Orange Pub. All the chicas from Cocal that weren't taken overnight ended their night there during my visit. Talent was good, I saw Nicaraguans, Costa Ricans, a few Dominicans and a lot of Colombians but the prices are high compared to what I was spending in Sosua in November. All the women, even the unattractive ones tried to throw out $200 as a starting point but most would quickly counter with $150 when you don't take the bait.

 From what I was able to gather through conversations with fellow travelers the bargains are to be had in San Jose during the week and a lot of these women have their money grabs on weekends in Jaco and it seems like a lot are getting it. The monger demographics are also very different to Sosua because the majority seemed to be free spending dudes who don't have a problem paying the kind of money being asked. I had a great time and there were plenty of beautiful women to be had but be prepared to pay top dollar and the chica union seems to be strong because I personally was never able to get any of the ones I sessioned with to go below $150. The overnight prices I was quoted ranged from $350 all the way to $500.

I was in Rio last September and a session at Centaurus, which is the most expensive brothel in Rio was $600 reals  which converted to $120 US at the time. Still cheaper than the average being asked in Jaco and if you negotiated to meet outside the club it was less because then they don't have to pay the establishment out.

I don't mean to bash Jaco in any way and I know every place has its loyalists, I'm just merely pointing out what I saw and experienced. Again a great time can be had but just make sure you budget accordingly. The one positive is they have a very strict camera policy so all the YouTubers talking about Jaco will be in for a surprise, not to mention the shock to the wallets

Spots like these don’t become “hot spots” or get overrun, because the cost is too high for the average weekend warrior and casual monger.

Speaking of Centaurus and Brazil overall, there’s nothing cheap about it at all. Throw in the admission charge just to enter Centaurus, flights and accommodations, etc., and you’re out of pocket by a whole lot of dollars before you even begin.

I’d deal with a headache in Brazil than the ease in DR because of the quality I like, and feel a DR 9 is just a7.5 in Brazil if we talking straight up P4P, not regular civilians. Kinda how some might not want to spend up there in price, in a smaller Caribbean island with limited p4p and have to drop $100 ona 6 or below due to limited time/options(you do what you do if you really want it)  everything is relative. A 8 will become a dime if there’s no other options and it’s established she’s the best looker(not the most beautiful woman ever) is how I feel with DR, as it’s a small country with 10-12million people going against countries with easily over 40 million people aka Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, Brazil, etc…

I was in Costa Rica in July, I loved the casino and set up, especially with the outdoor pool. I will not monger jaco, as it’s definitely not in my budget of how I like to spend my time or miney. I do like it’s nearby but not in your face because my lady could sleep in and I step out maybe an hour or 2 later just to sight see, and there’s a beach. Can’t put that in other countries because it’s too spread out unless I’m near a P4P zone and I don’t like staying near parque llere and no beach. CTG is off the boards most of the time. Likely not revisiting Jaco, but the military guys I know like it due to safety so no issue getting approved for the trip oppose Tia Colombia or Brazil where entry would be non existent due to current safety concerns. I definitely would return with some friends, but on a solo P4P mission, I don’t think any country would entice me to spend like that. However I know guys who love it and I understand why. I don’t even try to sway them because as you said that’s just how CR operate

Man Costa Rica was the spot in the early to mid 2000s. You don't have to worry about it being overrun the real mongers already been there done that. Back when San Jose was the main spot.

Because of this, Chicas throw out wild ass numbers because they get enough suckers to agree to it. I got a quote for $350 from a chica I didnt even like. Said we can stay together all day and do what i want. She was sloppy drunk so I didnt even counter. Most common quote I got was $150. I counter at 40k colones 7/10 will take it, the other 3/10 will take 50k Colones. An older dude I met out there has a max of 20k Colones or $40. Most, immediately walked away, but he eventually left with someone. He said this is his number because that's what he pays in the local "casas."

I admire you because you keep it real but to clarify are you saying that Brazilian women are worth spending more because of the beauty and service or are you saying that in totality traveling to Brazil is worth it?

For example just on an infrastructure basis being in Colombia is "better" (though obviiously not safer)  than the DR.

The Power situation and even the weather alone makes it "better" than the DR.

In budget accomodations would you say that  you get more "bang for your buck" I.e.  A Electric or gas stove without worrying about Propane tanks or Hot water and A/C standard on budget accomodations?

Also everyone says to experience Brazil on the cheap and to deal with "civilian" women they say that Portuguese fluency matters; Do you find that to be true?

One last thing about the service argument I never heard of a Brazilan chica acting up or demanding more money which happens a ton in Sosua especially at the 8 and above US Federal weekends in the villas. Would you say at the lower levels is GFE pretty standard? And in the smaller brothels do you still get decent service or is there a drop off in quality and service>

also how easy is it to pick up in places other than MABS and La Dolce Vita?

Women are a main motivation but it’s because Brazil prices fluctuate a lot. First time I went to Brazil my flight ticket was 650 and I said then “if I find a ticket 500 or Lessing I’m going 2 weeks. Then my second time I went with a buddy and got the ticket at 450. So I made progress. My march trip I got for $202 and I got it the same day. This was coming off a disappointing DR trip and I decided I’m doing my birthday elsewhere because Brazil flights getting cheaper n I’m adapting meanwhile the DR flight prices and the girls progressing a lot fast.

My Portuguese is trash so I speak Spanish if I’m lost because it’s what 64-80% shared language and the girls and guys just thought I was from Europe first. Then realized I’m rely on Spanish as a crutch not speaking a different dialect. I haven’t smashed a civilian but I do BJJ, beach n exercise my 2-3 weeks so the ladies see me get fit daily and I’ll throw out dinner offers. Speaking Portuguese definitely helps because one girl flat out told me she couldn’t do using a translator as it’d make her feel uncomfortable and I get it. She’d look like a whore in public because of the communication barrier. I would say that she could have not liked me but she changed clothes infront of me before in the hotel, “accidentally” entered my room when I was showering and gave me her WhatsApp. She had to know I smashed girls because my first night I brought a chic from Mab’s and people were excited I pulled it off even staff offered to help if I was needing assistance.

Rio has Ritz with a pool in the roof so nothing in el batey is f--king with the beach front property. Airbnbs/hotels I have limited experience but if you’re frugal and like to spend $500 or less Sosua will have you in a safer area than Rio.

I’ve only had one negative experience and it came from taking a cheap redlight district chic to my hotel and it moved from 20 to 60 and she wanted to be paid upfront. She was beautiful and the pussy was good just too tight n she didn’t want to use lub so I was stuck with her moving, pausing, etc… when I got her to relax and do my thing what normally take 20-40 minutes cans in under 10 minutes so yay even in a loss I took a win.

 I dont think it’s wise to develop a habit of kissing actually whores not semi pros but cheap whores, but Rio will pop out a 19-24 year old who just f--ks so good you will be tempted to kiss her and if she kisses you first(kinda their thing, kissing strangers on the lips) but you 9/10 times won’t stop it.

So If I'm picking up what you're putting down it seems like the girls from bottom level to elite Japanese Dime status are more user friendly than most DR 6's. both performance wise and in the less likelyhood of upcharging after the fact.

Also the accomodations are better even at a higher price point i.e. more value for the money.

If I have it correct I get what you're saying.

You nailed it. So 5 years straight of DR for springbreak/birthday I decided to go to Brazil for a better experience and cheaper prices in regards to P4P.j

To each their own, but CR is a much better alternative to DR than Colombia. I'm currently ranking it above DR (based on my assessment of overall value).
Safer.
Largely English speaking.
Chica variety (Costa Ricans/Nicaraguans/Colombians/Dominicans/Venezuelans)
Developed city outside of chica spots.
Bonified eco destination with active volcanos, Pacific Ocean beach to the West. Caribbean to the east. Mountains. etc
Cheaper flights (currently looking at $390 RT from Seattle).

Drawback is that if you're a hold the line guy, CR is not cheap. None of it. Hotels $110 a night. $5 beers, I bought ramen in China town and it was $16. Basic chicas want $150+, (but you can get away with $80-100 ST).

Playa Bonita outside of Limon. 3 hour car ride, 5 hour bus. Mostly surfers and backpackers. Very small beach town; closer to a slower Las Terranas vibe. Mostly small boutique hotels attracting the yoga retreat crowd and older airbnbs. The caribbean side is warmer and calmer waters. Only stayed a day exploring, but didnt see anything in the realm of p4p. Asked a taxi driver where the chicas are and he said "Jaco."
