Yesterday afternoon, chicas on Pedro Clisante in front of the VA clinic were fighting.  In the video I saw, one chick in the video was stabbing the other chick in the back ( and maybe her neck ).   It wasnt until I saw a still photo of both of them side by side, that I realized who one of the chicas was.

She is the one in the green outfit, a Dominican chica named Caroline.  A chica with slim tight body, but also on drugs, probably coke.  Before the incident, I saw her parking her pasola in Bailees parking lot, then walk towards Bailees.  I noticed her green genie like outfit.  She looked like she was high then.

So to hear about this incident is crazy.

I have the video, but it wouldnt upload and send.  Maybe that is for the best.
Yes we don't need to see it, high chicas can do some terrible shit. FYI it is not coke their on, it fake coca, mostly PCP with 20-25% coca, its more addictive, the chias can get a balloon for 3-500 pesos, enough for the night to party, the addicted need 2-3xs that every day. I do not advocate drug use, but some women I know use it as an escape, to feel free. When we are together, and she feels secure her true emotions come out.

You sound like you know but never mentioned it. I know a guy who moved to Colombia for cheaper coke and he said Coke is all over Sosua and a lot of chicas are addicts or have a little habit.

Everyone knows about the spot down the street from Europa and those houses behind the "cow pasture" but he said the ladies room at the atrium in the casino was also a spot where hoes copped.

We discuss every aspect of Sosua in detail but no one talks about how much drugs influence the game in Sosua.

I know about those spots imagine what dudes who spend several months a year and guys who live there know yet never discuss.

Yes it is everywhere, but stepped on hard, like I said mostly PCP. I have spent about 3yrs. in the last 13,  in Sosua. I was only ST with chicas the first few years, a few days at most. After I found some "keepers" it was more like a GFE, a week at a time. That's when I learned the street game, who was doing and who was selling what. All my chicas smoked (like me) some did a little blow, just to party. I don't buy on the street, my chicas get it delivered.

Ricky's restaurant, and the small little cafe/fruit and veggie place next door, had a fire today.

Ricky's restaurant is on Pedro Clisante a half block from Super Super liquor store and Banco Reservas. I am not certain of the extent of damage to what is depicted in the photos, or if any other business nearby sustained damage?

Ricky's Pollo, the small Fruit Store,  and part of the Lotto ...

Wasnt there another chicken spot between the lottery place and Rickys restaurant?    They sold chicken on a gril.  Whole, half and quarters.

There was super chiken besides but I don't know if it was still operating

Thanks Jazzy
The Ricky restaurant, I did not go on my 3 last trips because they got me sick last time I ate there.
The super chiken restaurant though was doing very good chicken on the bbq ... well seasoned and cheap ... I bought many times from them and never I was disapointed.
Hope nobody was hurt.

Friday April 19th, 2024

While driving down PC, I noticed that Rickys Dominican restaurant and the fruit and veggie/mini market cafeteria spot next door were making progress getting back on track, since the fire last year September.

Ricky's looks like the dining area is going to be a lot bigger than before.  The fruit veggie place, looked like they were actually in operation.  I saw new cooking equipment, and I briefly caught a quick glance of their produce set up for sale.

I wasnt really trying to check out everything around town, but it was apparent that Sosua has accumulated a lot of new barbershops.    I wish some of those new businesses were nail salons or massage parlors.   I need a pedicure like a muthablubba.   I was spoiled having at least one regular that took care of that.

Looks like now Im going to have to go to Theresa's shop down the hill going towards the beach.  Only thing is, she charges tourist prices.  Or I could go to Los Charamicos in the day time, and find a salon there?

Or f--k it, maybe I will go to the beach and let Milagros take care of it for me.   Make believe Im a tourist.   At least her and I should be able to  work out a slight discount.   It's not the price, it's the principle.   Negotiation is what people do in the DR.  It helps to take the target off ones back.  I do respect her hustle.   She's been working the beach for a lot of years.   But from her perspective, I may still be considered a walking ATM cash cow.

In other words, we dont get any respect for who we are or what we represent.  It's always about what they can potentially get out of us, which makes us valuable in their eyes.   Very superficial thinking.  It's amazing how different we think towards them ( personable & positively ) , vs how they seem to operate with us ( seeing us as a potential cash resource and offering us superficial fake friendship ).

Where you stand on the issue depends on where you sit.  The words enough, some, many , to whom it applies to, does not mean ALL of any people, places or things.  If you cant, dont or wont learn from friends, family or your peers, dont worry the locals will teach you, and you will learn the hard way.

Its Saturday April 20th 2024

It's a cloudy, rainy morning so far ( @830 ).    My part time Haitian regular just left.  I expect it to be like this all day.   No beach today.   If I want something special for lunch later, Aris restaurant #67 on the beach will still be open. I can have him deliver my usual meal without having to go the beach to get it.

Or I can make something, from what I already have.

Todays a good day to transfer pics and video of my trips onto an external drive.  Also update any devices that require it.

I have noticed that the usual illegal street pharmacies around town are still servicing the community and foreigners.   There is this one chick that everybody should know by now.   She is as skinny as a number 2 pencil.   Used to be a nice looking chick.   The drugs has consistently kept her looking like skin and bones, with absolutely no ass whatsoever.   She's about 5' 7" to 5' 8".  medium brown complexion.  Used to have a nice rack.   Now she is rackless.  Used to have a nice smile when she was healthy and on patrol, especially on the beach.

There's another chick like her that looks wore out as well.   She used to frequent the beach, but the last time I saw her,  she was walking back and forth on the road that leads to La Mulatta.   This one is lighter complected.   When she was healthy, she had a pretty face.   Kinda reminded me of singer/dancer Mya in the face.

This chick looks horrible now.  She had a baby several years ago.  I believe with some white guy.   But when she turned to hard core drugs, she destroyed herself.   ive even seen her down the highway near Perla Marina trying to get picked up on the side of the road.

The drug thing is one thing I hate that has happened to Sosua.   If it was just weed, or a little blow, it might be ok.   But whatever these neighborhood pharmacists is pushing is f--king up a lot of people.   Also the traffic leading to and from these places, and people blocking the streets is a f--king nuisance.

If there are chicas working in Sosua that arent hardcore in some form or another, that would have to be a miracle.   One can just look at them, and sense that most of them cant be trusted.   Not for anything.

Making eye contact and attempting to do business or even inquire about potential business, is like sending them a message of you potentially being a target, and/or how dumb you might be to even think about wanting anything from them.

Just asked Google for the weather forecast for the next 10 days,

Tomorrow Sunday about 10% chance of rain.   30% to 40% rain from Monday April 22 until Saturday April 27th.   Then Sunday and Monday following,  it appears the weather is expected to be sunny and dry.   Lets see how this plays out.   At least it's not cold here in the DR.  Ashy hands in the states in April?    I was suffering, the nine days I was in the states before getting back to Sosua.   Too f--king cold, and it rained a lot there.

Started to ask what are common prices for goods in the newbie section (e.g. Bottle of water ~ 50 pesos) but since you bring it up...Humor me Mr Tug
