Yes I have done Suber Bowl weekend three time the last few years its off the chain and gets better every year.  I guess a Super Bowel party is as good an excuse as a golf outing with the boys. I don't have that problem though should seeing you fellas in about 3weeks for a short stay.

My annual trip to the land of honey comes soon, so time to resume this thread for the older playas! I am in my fifties and last year never made it to Sosua because the honeys at Blackbeard's and Field of Dreams had me on lockdown. This time around I am opting for the greater variety that Sosua offers.

Also gotta score my first happy hour. Any other older gents gonna be on the grounds Memorial Week?

Bumping this oldie post for the well, old heads. I'm trying to get Blackbeards to offer an AARP discount.

Just turned 65 on MLK weekend had a great time in Punta Cana.  I am coming back to my favorite city for the Super Bowel but just a weekend.  I can't do the red roof inn type hotels anymore I need and want comfort without misguitos.  I have pick millennium in cabarete 140 a night but real comfortable and chica friendly.  I always rent a car anyway why not take advantage of it.  Absolutely idiotic to have it parked outside of NG all day.  Cigar I have done Blackbeard twice, I was bored to death and that ride back to Sosua was no joke.  This old head will pass, even though when here at home my party hours are from 7-10pm.  Can't do that 10-2am thing with the youngins anymore, I am still not ready for Blackbeards.

Blackbeards definitely isn't for everybody but I like spending a couple days there during a weeklong trip. However, I do recommend it for older guys who are visiting Sosua for the first time. It's a good way to get into the swing of things before moving on to Sosua.

Danceelite0,

It just occured to me that at age 65 you may be the elder statesman here. Based on your experience, when should a guy give up Sosua because of um, maturity? I'm four years behind you and want to keep walking in your footsteps!

Yeah my brother I do have the numbers, I'll be in  66 January less than six months.  I've been in this addictive madness since 2004.  DR every few months,  I have enjoyed it 90% of the time.  In the last few years I've said on each trip this would be my last, only to book again a month or two later.  I don't know where you or any of you older guys are when it comes to physical fitness, any health issues, or have you done ample preparation for retirement.  Those are the factors one would figure in with how you handle your twilight years.  Come January I'll be a double dipper,  meaning I'll still be working and drawing that retirement check with no penalty for working.  I still work out,  have too the dance requires it.  Other than heriditary hi blood pressure, I have no physical issues.  I learned long ago if I am going to pay for some ass, I am going to be supine and the chic is going to do all the work.  Am I going to stop going, of course my next trip will be my last.  Right who am I fooling I don't see and end to this. Simpfest 4 and the Super bowl are already on the radar as well as a trip to Santo Domingo soon.

Nice stuff, Dance! I feel your spirit!

I am rounding into the best shape of my life since high school. I work from home and the flexibility allows me to get into the gym twice a day during the week. I work on cardio and strength. I found solutions for ED issues (no Viagra) and now I can go hard in the pink for 60-90 minutes, twice a day, in Sosua. So it's all good. Like you, I feel I have a lot of time left in the land of funk.

The interesting thing is my age means nothing in the DR. If anything it is an advantage. The chicas think I am either a nice quick lay or a safe pull who will treat them right. Either way it is good for me, and I do make them put in work! LOL.

For those of you who have visited Pica Flor, are the guys who frequent the place generally youngish guys in their 30s or are there some seasoned vets 50 and up?

Looking forward to celebrating my 62nd birthday in Sosua in a few months. At my age all the young ones look great! Lol. Nothing like having a 21-year-old ride grandpa.
