Have you checked into Avianca? They are a Colombian airline. Thats what i am using. Flying from Miami direct to Medellin. Non-stop but you have to make sure you check in one hour ahead of time with them. They close the doors even though the plane is still sitting there for another hour till it takes off. I am going to stay in El Poblado. Very nice, secure. About $85.00 a night. 2 bedroom condo. I'll pm you some pics of the place and area once i am there. No worries on the spelling. lol

@Myman - yea any info on Medellin would be appreciate this way too boss. Have been looking into Medellin for the last cple months thinking about making a trip there too. The flight is about the same price and sometimes less coming from DC as DR flights. Any info as far as hotels, discos/bars, etc would be nice bro. Thx

Sure thing.  All the action is within a few blocks radius of where i normally stay. Strip clubs, bars, discos, casas. Small hole in the wall bars. Nice vibe …no beach though. I was trying to find some pics of the place in Medellin where i stayed last time but i can't find it. I only have the beach condo in Cartagena ($75.00 a night) 2bedroom, pool, chica friendly. but i'll get some good pics your way of the place, area and of course paisas. The third pic is of the casino where LDV is located at. LDV is the equivalent to Classicos. 98% of the girls in there will be cueros. This place is about a 5 min. walk from the same condo in pictures.

lol. No problem. I was new there once and needed some help also. I've got the Spanish down pretty good. Good idea on your part. If you need any help just let me know. Practice "Claro" lots. They use it a lot. Just means "of course" or "sure". IF a paisa asks you…"tu qieres que me vaya contigo" …you tell her "claro." jajajaja. Have fun bro.

lol. jajajaja is me laughing in spanish. "Tu qieres que me vaya contigo" means "would you like me to leave with you" and a paisa is what you call the people from Medellin….Like New Yorkers from N.Y.  Girls from Medellin are very proud to be paisas so they will tell you with pride that they are. They don't use whatsapp over there much …they all mainly skpe so make sure you have that on your phone.

IMO Paisas are the most gorgeous girls in the world. I am skyping with a 20 yr. old paisa right now. That girl makes me want to jump on a plane tomorrow. lol The scene is more of a downtown scene. No villas unless you travel out. You will find mainly condos/apartments. You could rent a penthouse. Depending on how many people are coming with you its not a bad idea. A 7 bedroom penthouse with private pool, maid and chef will run you about $1,300.00 a month. Some friends of mine did that and they split the bill 6 ways so it was about $210.00 each. You can find condos with a jacuzzi in the outside patios. They don't cost much more than a reg. condo. This one here is a little overpriced but just so you get an idea.

@blklouky don't know why no one answered you. But yes I know the Classico owner he is Cuban looking Dominican guy.  Remember at one time maybe a year or more ago he had most of the business on the strip.  Latinos had the rest now they are boarded up.  You know he may be Cuban I did fly in one time from Miami with him in first class. He is arrogant and moody my only dealing with him have been negative.  I do remember when they first decide to board off the view from the street he refused and that's when D Latin took over.  I won't go so far as to say he is the driving force behind the changes.  But Sosua history indicates he is the one who suffered the biggest financial loss with the advent of three new locations in the last three years, Dlatin, Rumbas and El flow. Before them Clasico and his Merenge bar was the shit.  Latinos was hitting as well but he had the majority of the strip.
