The no booze ban after 3pm is an example of an issue that can bring out the sentiments from individuals claiming Sosua is ruined.  Enough will cancel their trips because of this.  Others that love drinking on their visits,  may not like it, but they'll still come, adapt and still enjoy.

IMO, an alcohol ban like this can be seen as a positive.  Some dudes that come here need to put some brakes on how much alcohol they consume anyway.   Because of their underlying health issues. And also with those f--king with that viagra and cialis.  Another potential benefit,  is saving money.   Buying drinks out is a lot more expensive than buying and drinking from your own stash.

Another realism?  A lot of dudes Ive run into, and know personally, dont drink alcohol,  or they are such light drinkers, that an alcohol ban wont have the slightest impact on their enjoyment.   In fact, it might mean having less fools around to endure.

Lastly, I still dont like the idea that the govt has the power to undermine the economy by dictating to businesses that they cant sell or serve alcohol past 3pm.  A lot of money is lost with that policy.  The bad thing is,  it's a one size fits all policy.   Tourists coming on vacation havent been a threat to DR citizens.   Tourists typically are not the groups with large gatherings out and about.   They are typically seated comfortably up in some venue.  A controlled environment.

My take is,  their efforts are more towards controlling the behavior of their own people.  Not exactly dealing with the virus itself.  In other words, some church thumping officials personally dont like to see people drinking alcohol.   Or dont like seeing their own people drunk and acting up, especially in public.     When I was working, we had supervisors like that.  Make up policies at a whim, because they personally didnt like something.

Why should tourists be expected to adhere to a no booze past 3pm policy, when your country opened the doors for us to come here,  and didnt give a damn about us being tested or how we got here on crowded airplanes?  Makes no sense.  Every tourist will be getting a negative test and leaving the DR in most cases.  Proof that they are NOT contributing to any extra concern of spreading the virus by drinking alcohol past 3pm.

The govts power in protecting it's citizens would be better served protecting them from themselves on DR streets and highways.   Like enforcing traffic and vehicular safety.   Reckless handling of motos.  Driving against traffic.  Speeding recklessly.  Carrying small children/infants on motos.   Kids standing up in front on a moto, plus no helmet on motos.

Children not secured while in cars.   I'll bet more people die and are severely injured on the streets and roads vs spikes from Covid.   But then again,  the DR must maintain the narrative that they are doing things to protect it's citizens from the ravages of Covid.   Help/aid is going to be needed, thats the narrative.  Got to keep the at a whim , knee jerk policies going to make it look good.

I really don't understand the DR government. I guess this is what they mean by 3rd world? How am escaping the matrix to a country that still has a curfew? Hundreds of dollars on flights, hundreds on a room, a couple hundred on chicas that look and act like chicas in the states. Make this make sense in 2021.

In all fairness...you could just go over there an see for yourself. If you're not in country, why does it matter? Are you planning to cancel your trip if you can't buy alcohol after 3pm?  Might be better to cancel your trip until curfew is repealed.

Good question  Kinda Puts a damper on the ballers fun time ! no stunting in front of high priced hoes, no making it rain, no foolish behavior,,You know some of them would be like deer in the head lights out side the Anveeh compound,  Now Smart mongers would not need the Anveeh,  Post up at any small bar or small resteraunt,  smart mongers would keep his eyes peeled for new to the game chicas, and bargin for a good price, even better tell the chica what your going to pay , if she dosent agree walk away!.. This is a good thing if its just a few weeks, called market adjustment,,,
perhaps the high horse dime will lower her price...of corces you can always get a pussy fix and watch them on fans only to peak at the pussy, just send pesos,, a virtual pussy party !

Ya ever heard of the saying?  "One man's heaven is another mans hell"    Some men that travel here in the DR, their ESTABLISHED circumstances, abilities, and adaptation skills may be different than cats who are majorly inconvenienced and/or defeated by the things you mentioned.    Getting out of the Matrix physically just because one has a passport is not enough for an escape.  One must know how to get out of the Matrix mindset as well.

Signs one is on a path that may be able to handle minor inconveniences or their circumstances makes it easier to be on that path :

1. Ones financial circumstances is adequate enough for an escape.   Where the cost of their physical escape and personal comfort at their final destination is a non factor.  Either they were blessed or they worked extra hard.  Or both.

2. Guy's that are always proactive when they travel, usually have established contacts/regulars.  That practice eliminates the concern over undesirable p4p chicks being ones only option.   In addition,  one has become an expert in navigating in shark infested waters.   Playing the hunter is like a video game.  Some things that come easy, are not always appreciated, by some.

3. Some cats are lucky in terms of having more time to travel and can stay longer than some cats that can only be away from their physical matrix for a few days.

4. If one is retired and/or an expat,  that individual may be in a better position in which to reduce their costs considerably.   Where number 1., 2., 3. 5., and 6. above/below may all apply.

5. If one's lifestyle habits does not require being out late at night,  does not require a particular venue at night to be available,  a curfew or an alcohol ban wont be that big of an issue.

6. If one just cant deal with the Matrix here in the DR, one can always plan a vacay elsewhere.

However in my humble opinion, a lot of folks that attempt to escape some matrix,  may never really leave it.   Because they are taking themselves with them wherever they go.   The Matrix and their associated limitations is manifested within them,  it's not really or only about the location they come from or go to.

Where you stand on the issue depends on where you sit.  The words enough, some, many , to whom it applies to, does not mean ALL of any people, places or things.  If you cant, dont or wont learn from friends, family or your peers, dont worry the locals will teach you, and you will learn the hard way.

You are right man. I plan to be there August or September. It ain't no positive on a ban of alcohol not sold after 3pm. Out of every 100 people that go on vacation, 1 may not drink, that is what people go on vacation for, to relax and party.

Grown people don't got on vacation to sit around for an afternoon and night drinking Cokes and virgin Piña smh. I would and will not go on my trip if that is the case. I am not walking into an establishment trying to sneak in a shorty.

3pm alcohol ban is one of the dumbest idea they have come up with. It slows down co vid doesn't it. They are just f--king businesses for sure when in any business it is the alcohol that makes the money not the food.

It's simple to me ....just go to your hotel and drink then come back out and chill. It could be alot worse.....think 3PM CURFEW! How would that make you feel?? Is it retarded.........YES, but that's the backwards ass thinking you can expect in society these days.

It actually may help the fun. You know them chicas love to drink so now they got to go to your room to indulge. Plus your sexual perfomance will be better since you not out in that hot sun and humidity drinking all evening. I'm telling you It's not that bad...
