That was a question for SosuaSalso.
I know well what Sosua is about... i generally go places for a week+, what you described not really my thing. ... that is if i'm there more than a couple days.
What I meant to say is that I like my women sexy and ready to dance and be intimate and f--k, the women I met in Santo Domingo where kind of stuck up and mad that my Spanish wasn't on point, grant it, I was there on A Tuesday lol, in the club on a Tuesday. I just think Jaragua isn't my thing, There is hot women, but a lot of gay male tourists there to f--k dudes from what I saw

Explain...  "I find it boring compared to Sosua"

I've only been to DR twice.. both times Sosua and I find it pretty boring.. as far as my vacations tend to go.

My thought really, from everything I read here, is the next several trips to the DR, it wont be Sosua.  SO curious to hear someone say the capital is boring...

Sosua typical day :

Woke up at the morning bang the chica of your TLN give her money, kick her of the hotel then go eat a breakfast.
Hang around, go to the playa, eat or drink some stuff on the pedro clisante or on the beach, meet a chica you like, talk with her, go back t the hotel then bang her too, pay her then kick her of the hotel.
Go back on the street or at the beach, eat or drink stuff then meet another chica, talk with her, go back to hotel room , bang her then pay her and kick her of the hotel.

Got back in town, drink some beer in a bar on the pedro clisante, meet chicas, bring them back to the hotel then bang them, pay them then kick them out of the hotel.

Go back on Pedro Clisante (probably at classico at this time), drink, meet a chica then  go back to the hotel room and bang her, it's your TLN so now you fall asleep.

You repeat this pattern each day, you like it or not, you can also do some activity at the beach or around sosua.

You like it or no.
But this can be done in the capital alllllll day.. with better quality chicas.. I mean it ain't as wide open as sosua, but the playbook is similar.

Gay male tourist there to f--k dudes?   What are you talking about dude?  I have been to Jaragua maybe 100 times over the past 15 years or so.  I don't believe I have ever seen one male gay dude there.  I have pulled chics out the casino, the disco bar, avenita independencia and both those brothels in the neighborhood.  The only thing that has changed over the years is the hotel.  It got a beautification face lift.  Lost a overpriced restaurant, a nice friendly donut bar and a few business from the hallway in the back.  Used to have a copa airlines office there almost purchased a ticket to Cuba years ago.  Most of those things have been replaced and the price per room has gone down as well and the joint is now chica friendly, thanks to Marriott.

I have heard that but haven't seen it there either.  However I have read some disturbing reports of homosexual trageties in boca chica.

@chicaman  the two brothels are out the back gate and the next street make a short left mid block on the left.  Right next to hotel Mystic as many times as I've been there I still don't know the names.  There are two of them side by side just to the right side of Hotel Mystic.  Don't let those Dominican bums help you, use the info here and tell them you are ok.  There are trying to get dough from the brothel you use and will steer you to the big one because there chances of getting paid are better.  See both and make your own choice.  The big one is suppose to be 24hrs but it had no girls on the Sunday morning I was there.  They both get kicking about 7pm and go to the early morning.

You forgot one thing:  Go to the casino late night, meet chicas, bring them back to the hotel then bang them, pay them then kick them out of the hotel.  There is nothing like Sosua in my opinion.

@danceelite0 ...thanks bro...you were exactly right came back this week...those damn taxi cats in with everybody. I told him the Doll House he says okay...but let me show you two other places and then take you there....now mind you I didn't know at the time that the Doll house was to the right of the hotel coming out of the Jaragua ...because we didnt pass it when going to the hotel from the airport...or I would of said no...turn right and take me straight to Doll House.....
Anyway  I went to the Avenita independencia I believe thats what its called...nice chicas in  there...drinks were like 500 pesos...bought a few, didn't want to pull the trigger yet so I left...and of course the taxi van was waiting...I was thinking Doll house, doll house....lol then he took me to Oasis Club on the Malecon...I 'm like this is not Doll house then he acted like he couldn"t understand and said si,si...,,lol,,it looked seedy outside but I said what the hell...if it went bad I could handle myself and if I took a loss it would of only been about the three hundred  hand in my pocket....but nothing bad happened...if fact once I went to the second floor...I was in shock and was like OMG,.... so many chicas...they all stood up and started calling to me.. they shit was a little unsettling because it was so many and so over whelming....long story short I took a super nice dominican chica out of there for the night...and never made it to Doll house that night...but a 5 days later about ...when I did decide to check out Doll House I felt it was a rip off...the drinks for girls are to damn high...you can't touch the girls...and watch out for some of the colombian woman they were sharks about that paper,,,too slick for me... oh and as far as the hotel loved the lounge, because of the live band and dancing...I won a little in the casino...and a alot of chicas come in the lounge for men...but the two very fine ones I spoke with wanted 150.00 US for short time(Real Pros)...I politely said no thank you...I had some pipeline chica coming anyway just later...so I told myself to stop being greedy and just wait....I just sat listened to the band and got faded off of Brugal straight...lol

Glad you enjoyed yourself chicaman, yeah the chics that sit at the bar in the lounge ask for big dough, the casino chics are cheaper.  Then again the bar chics are finer and dressed down to the max.  I have done both, all in the experience.  I do know that Oasis spot on the malecón it's been there for years. I haven't been there since like 2006, it was ok, a bit cleaner than now.  Any joint with that much longevity has to have some positives.  Next time get a cabby to take you to Casa Theresa on Winston Churchill, a gathering of the finest women in Santo Domingo.  100bucks gets one of them out there.  You won't be ripped off either that tall Dominican brother that runs the joint plays fair.

...@DanceeliteO ...okay thanks...definitely will do that...I also plan to make a few day walks through the malls...looking for non pros. ..like Agora Mall. Do you know how far Bavaro is from there...? I might take some of @007 advice and head that way for a couple of days also.  If not that maybe catch the Metro down to Santiago and hang out there for a few days.

I keep writing Santo Domingo is a city and you need to be prepared or you crash and burn! Again, the classic mistake which most people make they stay in the casino or near it and are not mobile.  Then they are dependent on a taxi driver who usually rips them off or they get overcharged at the brothels or casinos or deal with the bottom of the barrel street walkers.  You have limited your options to a 4 block radius that is not really happening when you move around santo domingo.  Agora Mall people have money there and the chicks there yes are hot, but do you speak spainish that is like being in a hot night club can you pull in that environment?   Barrio mall a much better option, but if you are not mobile your stuck in a 4 block area because you did not properly prepare or do research.  Again, being a gringo non pros are not running to you unless you have it together in Santo Domingo you need to pick it up.  Do you? People always complain about that area being over priced, but people know you have locked yourself into a small block area they are doing there job which is taking your money because you did not give yourself better options. People cannot complain that is all on you.  Santo Domingo is a big city understand that do not limit your movements to a 4 block radius.

Lets go over rule number 1 you are in a city.  Do not think you will be  treated fairly.  Be prepared, it is a macho culture people respect and treat you better when your confident and know what your doing.  You act like a duck you get treated like a duck.  That simple people there can be fair but in the environment you playing in you better be on top of your game or you will get taken advantage of.  Enough said.
