Stephan, I have the answer for you.  As you live in Sosua you should know where Lomas Mironas is, if not it is on the right side of the HWY 5  150 yards past Sea Horse Ranch going toward Cabarete.

Follow the road to the top and when you past the 2nd house on the left which has a big black fancy metal gate, knock on it and ask for the owner of this establishment. Remember it's on the left side of the road, you can not miss it. If you come to the security gate on the road, you have passed it.

I think you will find your solution there, if not they will direct you to another contact.

Agree.  Doesn’t make sense to me.  I can’t think of a reason why I would help fund someone’s trip.  Especially someone I don’t know.  Crazy thing is people are donating.
