Making my return August 6th - 10th

I haven't been to Sosua in over two years. My 71 year old father is pressing me about going, so I might as well take him on his first trip. I have a thing a thing for Blankitas from La Vega but can't decide between a villa or being closer to the strip. I'm really looking forward to eating some Red Snapper at Fast Freddie's seeing my father's reaction to all of the scattered tail walking around.  I have a few Chicas that I can hit up, but I always enjoy the thrill of finding something new.

Good for your dad!!!! I'm 68, been going for years. Make sure he has a physical before he goes,(blood pressure). Meds if any for 2x's longer than your stay and keep them in your carry-on. Lots of condoms too, and if he wants the little Blue Pills, every pharmacy sell the generic for about the tenth the cost of Viagra. Personally would not get a Villa,unless you have a car. I hope you and your dad have a great time!!!!

Thanks for the insight.  I've been Sosua seven times, so I know the lay of the land. Personally I don't mind the walk up the hill, but my dad might so I'll keep that in consideration.

Sounds great.just remember during the afternoons in august the temperatures hover around 100 degrees.

Have you looked at Garden Condos? Stayed there a few times, I love it. Good location, should be no problem getting a place there in off season.
