Has anybody purchased a condo or villa in the DR??  Any regrets ??  Do you see the prices going up or down in the next 5 years??

Tug gave good advice!  Rent and get immersed in the community.  And more important, get a good lawyer!  One who can do more than collect your money and type up a purchase contract.

I own a home in DR, btw.  As for prices, I see them going down, not terribly down though.  DR is in a housing bubble too!  Not as bad as the US and Canada though.
