Forming an LLC (SRL) in the DR

I didnt know where to post this, but does anyone have any experience forming an SRL (LLC) in the DR. Has anyone done this successfully without a lawyer? Whats the cost looking like?

From my understanding....No laywer, No business.

You have to hire an abogado if you need anything notarized - which you do for an SRL. Should cost about $1500 USD.
