My Current Observations ; Sunday September 12, 2021

Sosua nightlife is coming to life.   Apparently several places are open past the 11pm curfew.   Guys with boots on the ground know where those places are.   Are these places packed?  I dont know.   I have heard several different accounts.   But at least there is life.

Passed by NYC Drink last night about 6, and again around 9:30pm.   That place was packed like sardines.  And people hanging outside.   Cars parked on both sides of the street.   Young locals have made NYC Drink the go-to spot ( for them ).

Im not sure what is going on at Ahnvee?   With their long gate and security on duty outside,  it's hard to tell what their status is for the general public?    Can non-staying guests come to dine there, and watch sports?   IDK.

Meanwhile the 2413 Sports Complex at David's Plaza is showing signs of life.   Right now, this place is looking more like a place for vets and expats.   Because those are the main ones that have showed up to patronize the place.

Frank found a few young chicas to hang out there.   Their job is to be seen, & mingle with the customers.  The waiter & waitresses serve the customers drinks and food.   Like anywhere else in Sosua, chicks dealing with foreigners may be available in most instances.

I went there yesterday to play pool.   I'm waiting for my buddy to show up.  He got sidetracked.  His chica/amiga threw him a surprise BD party at another spot in town.  "Bliss", I believe it's called?

Well when he didnt show up,  I had the table all to myself.   One of the newest chicas came over to greet me.   It was her 2nd day there.  I ended up keeping her with me.   We played around on the table, since she wasnt really a player.   Me pretending to teach her how to hit the balls.  We stopped to eat/drink/talk.   She gave me her number, before I left.   I could have arranged to take her home right then and there,  but chose not to.

If Im inclined, I can connect with her later.

IMO she was very attractive. I would be very surprised if she hasn't given her number out to at least a dozen customers in the two days she's been there.  IMO, she may not last long working there, before getting snatched away from there by some dude.

Since it's football season, they may end up drawing a lot more customers in the near future.   Last February they would have had a decent crowd had it not been shut down.   In the meantime, Mr Flip Flop, Kings, The Tree House at Las Palmeras and a few others seem to be the known and preferred venues for sports fans.

Whats the word on Ahnvee?   Can non staying guests come there to watch sports and dine?

Where you stand on the issue depends on where you sit.  The words enough, some, many , to whom it applies to, does not mean ALL of any people, places or things.  If you cant, dont or wont learn from friends, family or your peers, dont worry the locals will teach you, and you will learn the hard way.

Actually it's already there.
One of the bars in the back was planned to be a strip club complete with some very private booth type areas.

Sure there will be plenty of dudes that got their monger feet wet in the USA strip clubs that would love such a place.

Far end of Pedro Clisante across from where the new police station was built a few years ago and next to the High Carribbean building.  You can't miss it as it's on the curve

Just got back yesterday (15 day trip).  Went by David's Plaza 2413 / got a tour of the facility and drove by a couple of nights. No disrespect but the place is dead.  NYC Drink is a good spot to check on the weekend. During the week its slow.  98% Dominicans when I went.  The Casino is lit.  If someone's into to clubs that's the spot.

Playa Sosua businesses have a decision to make.  One of my favorite places on the beach,  to eat and hang out has just closed.   Zanzibar.   A lot of factors went into them making that decision.

I got a good laugh out of a guy I sent a WA contact. She was at least an 8.5 - 10 for 90% of guys but he said when she showed up, she looked like a scrub and he didn't want her.  It made me laugh because we all talk so much shit about paying for [quality?] and here this guy told me he's seen better. I reminded him of his joy when he initially saw her pic and he said she didnt look that way in person.  And that's the name of that tune.  Not to mention, it seems no matter who posts a pic of a so called "Dime" others will always see her as less.

Damn..i met the brother my last trip and sorry to hear that. However listening to him on a live chat and what he went through in the states I believe he will bounce back with something else. I respect anyone who opens a business in another country and tries because I sure as hell wouldn't do it.
