Ok sirs   whats the best temp health insurance plan?  I know some folks  say have cash or access to cash in case of emergency

Well. If you use a credit card to even book a flight it’s usually included. I believe up to 1-2M. That being said you will likely still have to pay up front before insurance reimbursing.

Pesos, Credit and your favorita that hopefully knows the medical/clinic/hospital system of compensation. Knock on wood, so far my plan for non serious issues is covered by the farmacia.
...I'm usually wrong...but that sh!t was great!

Keep in mind that insurance will only cover you if your visa is valid. If you stay in D.R. longer than 30 days you're technically "illegal" and insurance likely won't pay any claims.
