PUERTO PLATA.- El averiado puente metálico sobre el río Camú en la comunidad Sabaneta de Cangrejos, va a ser desensamblado para construirse en el mismo lugar un nuevo viaducto.
Extraoficialmente, ha trascendido que, en la primera semana de enero, el viejo puente erigido en la década del 1930 que une a los municipios de Villa Montellano y Sosúa, va a ser cerrado totalmente ya que se procederá al desmantelamiento de este

PUERTO PLATA.- The damaged metallic bridge over the Camú river in the Sabaneta de Cangrejos community is going to be disassembled to build a new viaduct in the same place.
Unofficially, it has transpired that, in the first week of January, the old bridge erected in the 1930s that joins the municipalities of Villa Montellano and Sosúa, is going to be completely closed as this bridge will be dismantled.

Well hopefully the detour has been improved.

On another note... WTF? Where did all this traffic come from? Middle of the day and it is a shit show from Sosua Ocean Village all the way to Sosua Abajo!
